I agree. I hate returnees even if they're a favourite of mine - it just softens the blow if it's someone I can root for.

I just find it so pointless, they come back with old information, they nearly always leave again the week after, and even if they did make it to the end, they'll have a hard time with the jury as they've already been evicted and many players don't seem to respect that.

The past 48 hours on the feeds were fantastic and the 'core' group realised they were gonna have to turn on each other and started to set things up for themselves to make sure they weren't gonna be on the bottom... now the feeds have been shut off they've completely killed any momentum the show had picked up - for me I couldn't be less interested now. I'm sure I'll get back into it but they couldn't have chosen a worse time to shut them off.

I liked the way the house was shaping up on Thursday but with the returnee we're going to have a whole new dynamic. It sucks.

is it possible they'll bring them back as one player if the house can't decide they come back as one player that would make them stronger with them knowing everything. And the brothers split .Have they done anything on the canada show before?”

Big Brother told the housemates that Nick and Phil are NOT going to be split up.
They were speculating about it in the run up to the double eviction, so Big Brother told them that it isn't going to happen.

I think production feared them being evicted in the double (because of the Secret Suite twist - not enough room for three housemates) and wanted to ensure that they weren't targeted... but it's ridiculous that they killed that speculation. Surely that's why they were put in the house as a pair for?

The returnee, the HoH and the nominations in tonight's episode (which airs at midnight for anyone interested - although I think most have been put off after that disastrous Thursday episode). A lot to get through in 40 odd minutes. Not even going to see a crumble of what actually happened, and we'll probably get shown some pointless pranks instead knowing BBCANT.

Then the feeds return, where we'll find out who won the Veto, and this series will hopefully get back on track...

If Kelsey returns I'm gonna sort of root for The Third Wheel. The house got rid of Kelsey and thought their work was done, so to see the three reunite and dominate would be fun to watch. I just want to see the rest of the housemates stupid faces as they're evicted one by one come to the realisation that they've been playing dumb and for Jared all this time (bar Joel, arguably).

I have been saying all along that this has been handed to Jared on a plate, apart from one time by Maddy, he has never been put up, through either stupidity or blindness, and he has just got stronger and stronger

Probably. For some reason that I'm not aware of Nikki "only" trusts Mitch. I've heard her say this a few times but I have no idea why she thinks this.

To be fair, Joel put up his two closest allies and did some damage to him. I don't understand why he didn't just boot Jared, but at least Joel recognises that they were/are steam rolling through the house.
I think Joel thought Kelsey leaving instead of Jared would crack the alliance, whereas Jared leaving would still leave Kelsey/Raul working together with Cass and Mitch on the fringes. Kelsey leaving breaks up Raul/Jared and Cassandra would no longer be attached to the group. I think that was his logic, he thought Kelsey was the key to the alliance. He misjudged it, though.

I remember Nikki saying how Mitch would win BBUK and how the UK audience would love him because he's so innocent and nice.

I can't wait for the returnee to come back and reveal all about Mitch just for Nikki's reaction. Will she wake up and realise the rat he is and see how he's been manipulating her, or has he done such a good job that he'll have her loyalty regardless?

One thing I forgot to discuss on here is the vote of 5-3.

I dislike the rat game so will never root for Mitch or other similar game play, but credit where it's due.
Mitch said on Tuesday night to someone (Jared, I think) that he wanted the vote to be 5-3 so that Maddy/Ramsey have someone to gun for and to show Maddy/Ramsey that they're with them whilst others aren't. At first he wanted to expose Cass, the brothers and Nikki.

He later spoke to Joel and realised Joel wasn't into the plan to evict Dallas, so he knew the vote would be 4-4 with Tim as the tie and he really didn't want that, so went to work on Nikki.

And in the end, he got exactly what he wanted. A 5-3 vote with his target leaving. It's a shame the returnee will blow up his game as he's playing great.

I thought Cass was the best campaigner this series, as she successfully kept Loveita and herself in the game, but once Mitch came out to play, she met her match - in the past two weeks he's got Kelsey and Dallas out against her wishes.

Mitch is getting a lot of hate online for manipulating Nikki but it was the best game move for him. Besides he is probably the only one from that side along with Jared / Ramsey who actually like Nikki, he has got upset when she has asked to leave in the past. So it is not a bad move for Nikki as she is now part of the majority.

Just sucks that Maddy escaped eviction. Urgh. Hopefully we get her out sometime, like the joy we all felt when Pilar got booted out in 5th place <333

Kelsey said she wouldn't put up Maddy if she returned when she was in the secret room.
I hope Kelsey exposes Mitch to Jared and Raul not to trust him and he gets put up.

This has been a pretty bad week. The last episode really didn't show what happened in an accurate light, were they protecting Mitch/Nikki or something because they knew viewers wouldn't be happy with the result.
I feel bad for Dallas. Maddy is pretty awful, plus it takes away Jared's main rival which is bad in storyline terms.

Plus the producers may have finally come up with a twist that virtually no-one is happy about, in or out of the house.

Only one person will be 100% happy about this twist - the one who returns !

One of the brothers is the only one I believe really or actually likes Nikki.

I think she is liked in the house. Just a lot find it impossible to forge a game relationship with her.

Mitch knows how to work with her by the emotional connection.

Kelsey said in the den thing that she wanted to get the brothers out first. She wanted to keep Mitch close but warn others about him and try and split Tim/Cass up.

She told Love she would protect Joel... if she will we will see, she did go in his HOH

Again I just hope Cassandra is on her way out of the house this week. I really cant stand her. Followed by Tim, Jared, Maddy and who ever returns. Everyone is okay. Surprised I am liking Raul now; well maybe like is too strong, he is bareable.

Really excited for tonight.

Everyone is in jeopardy depending on HoH.

Think Kelsey will be making a return to the house but strategically I would have made Loveita come back. She is a loose cannon and a massive distraction to keep in the house.

Maddy could get the boot this week.

If the new HG is Kelsey and Cass wins HoH they could go back to nominating Ramsey / Maddy. Maddy easy scapegoat.

I have a gut feeling Maddy will win the HoH though.

I wonder when we get the instant eviction this year?

I am guessing Week 8 on Wednesday's show. But that would mean another feeds blackout

She's just about made it to jury at the least so her stay will be prolonged whether it be in the main house or jury house

Because she's not a threat. She's not making bold moves, she's said she's not there to win and she's not in any of the alliances.

Yeah, jury is most likely a 9 person one.

Whoever returns from this twist makes jury adding more female players to the mix, along with Nikki / Tim which is probably what production is happy about.

I stand by what I said I feel that only 1 of the brothers really likes her, would want to stay actual friends with her. The rest find her inoffensive and I think most think they can use her.

I'm pretty sure the only one they can all agree on is Loveita for the reason you say and a few other reasons. One of us will be right

I think it was the way Mitch campaigned - using the gay card to get Nikki on side - that people didn't like.

Personally, it doesn't bother me - use whatever you can to get your own way in the game. If he was walking around the house saying Dallas is homophobic for no apparent reason other than to be an idiot, that's different, although essentially it's the same message, at least it was used as a tactic/strategy rather than just to smear his name. That's the only time I think housemates step over the line, but otherwise I'm fairly laid back when it comes to people saying and doing anything they wish in there.

I really enjoyed Cass last week. She impressed me by fighting for Dallas from the off despite Tim telling her not to. She's playing her own game which I didn't really realise until last week. I want to root for her but sometimes she does make it hard - she can be very bitchy.

Phil telling Kelsey he would nominate Nikki and Tim.
Use Veto on Tim, put Maddy up and send her home.

He says nobody cares if Nikki goes home or not, so he'd put her up.
Nick adds that he's sick of her moaning and wants her gone.
