I think production are delighted with how it's playing out.
They changed the fake eviction to keep Kelsey in the game, then made damn sure she returned by doing a house vote.
I don't think Mitch is that big of a loss, to be honest. He was with the trio, the only reason he's against them now is because they nominated him. Had they played smart and kept him, they would've been even more dominant than they are now, so I'm glad he's leaving.
The show was hit by two major stupid moves - Maddy backdooring Loveita then Nikki evicting Dallas.
I've come to the realisation that those two moves killed the series rather than the twist. Even if Loveita returned instead of Kels it wouldn't have changed much. She wasn't gunning for Jared/Raul, she wanted to go after Mitch/brothers/Cass which is a similar thing Kels is doing.
The remaining housemates are either annoying or dumb, or in some cases both. I've no favourite which sucks because it takes the emotional investment away from the game but whatever; I'm just gonna root for the underdogs week to week in the hope of some drama.
