Completely undeserved equaliser for Palace but doesn't that completely sum Arsenal up?

1-0 up, completely comfortable in the game but not creating any good chances then they concede an equaliser. It's so typically Arsenal. I'm just surprised Adebayor didn't score.

Arsenal will have to be really careful if this result stays the same, they'll drop below Man City and Man Utd will only be four points behind them for fourth.
They don't have the luxury of being able to coast out the rest of the season, they will have to get results from their last five games. |

So I think with Arsenal 13 behind with 5 to play I think that is their title challenge finally over.
Between Leicester and Spurs now. |

How have they drawn this?
![]() They do have a lovely run in though (City aside) Swansea City at home would have been seen as a win. Watford at home (in the cup) would have been seen as a win. There are no 'easy games' as far as Arsenal are concerned. |

Arsenal are a very weird team.
They were under immense pressure against West Ham and Spurs, yet still performed well enough to nick two points. OK, the WH game isn't a good example because they led, but they looked better chasing a game than in their comfort zone. If they win all their remaining home games, and nick a point at Sunderland and City, they'll do enough to finish in the top four. When they are under pressure to finish fourth and seal the job, they will give it 100%. Expected to go the distance in a title race and they'll buckle. Their league form in calendar years is always Jekyll and Hyde. Good in 2013, bad in 2014, good in 2015, bad in 2016............ |

I've been far more concerned about consolidating a top 3 place. |

Apologies, I am sure this has been done many times before but what's the implication of Liverpool winning the EL. Do they take the 4th place or can we have 5 teams in it ?

Nah, it's Leicester's title. There's no way they're going to implode to the level needed for us to overtake them. If that was going to happen, it would have happened already.
I've been far more concerned about consolidating a top 3 place. Chelsea realistically can't qualify for the EL now, so won't have much to play for against Spurs. |

The only way 4th place loses out is if both City and Liverpool win the European trophies and don't finish in the top 4. They would both qualify along with the top 3, and I think the 3rd place team would have the playoff to qualify that 4th normally goes into. |

It depends if Leicester lose at Man Utd then the gap could be closed to 2 points.

We get an extra spot, same if City win the CL but don't finish in the top 4.

Leicester's luck and form is such that they won't blow it now. To use the usual cliche, their name is on the trophy.
2-1 down with ten men heading into injury time and their two main goal threats off the field, they really needed to be literally handed a chance to level it and that's exactly what happened I definitely see it as a crucial point, which felt like more at the final whistle |

We defiinitely get 5 spots if Liverpool with the EL and finish outside top4 as Spain got that this year with Sevilla. |

So they need 2 wins and 2 draws or 3 wins from 4 games. of which 2 are away at man u and chelsea. Tottenham only really have away at chelsea to win
I still think leicester will do it, they didnt blow it today. They should have won but being down to 10 men made it a good result |

Just what I was thinking. And for the same reason Chelsea are hardly likely to break into a sweat against Leicester to help Spurs win the title.
