The greatest sporting achievement possibly of all time is about to happen. If Chelsea don't even turn up to the last game I'd be delighted tbh!

Stop being so precious, Spurs should have gone out and won more matches and they wouldn't have this problem
They obviously didn't think of that.

I'm delighted for Leicester too, and they deserve the title, but I doubt they appreciate some Chelsea players spouting off these views, which could allow accusations of not trying if events turn out that way.

Spurs are not saying they have a problem with this either, it's simply a story out there to be commented on. It shouldn't have got in the way, if indeed it does.

Couldn't agree more, Spurs have had the chance to go top, and haven't, Leicester have taken their chances and completely deserve their position in the league BUT I do think, with the Chelsea players' comments, if a less then committed looking Chelsea turn up (which I do realise has been happening a lot this season ), then for me it does leave a slightly sour taste in the mouth* And honestly, Leicester deserve better then that.

*For the record I actually think Leicester will have secured the title before this match

I think they will too, and agree with all you've said.

In a way, I hope they do now, because it would leave a sour taste if it goes to the final day, and Leicester have not needed any favours to get where they are.

It's as though these players want to claim some involvement in what happens. They should have kept their mouths shut.

I actually think Hazard was more talking about the Spurs game after the fans were chanting certain things at Bournemouth.
Why shouldn't he tell the truth. No one at Chelsea wants Spurs to win it. Pretty obvious statement.

In a day where players are accused of not playing for the club and being a mercenary, hearing something like this makes fans feel connected to players. I have no issue with any player of any club saying this. Neither made this comment out of nowhere, both players were asked, because as we know, interviewers need clickbait for their headlines. I don't think for a single second that any player would 'throw' a game.

After the apathetic performances we have had to endure this season, Eden more than Cesc, if they had also both shown apathy towards the Spurs fixture, heads would have rolled!

Current form should make this a walkover for Spurs. West Brom have scored a miserable 2 goals and scored 4 points in their last six; Spurs have scored 15 goals and 14 points in their last six.

Let's see if Spurs start feeling the pressure of Leicester seeming not to feel the pressure..

Six minutes gone and Yacob already playing like a headless chicken determined to be sent off.

Spurs hit the post, could get double figures on what I have seen so far.

Oh, how did Harry Kane miss that?

Myhill pushed it onto the post, that's how.

Great ball through from Dele Alli to play him in.

This is going to be a hard 90 minutes for the West Brom defence.

Spurs will be fine, West Brom have nothing to play for.

Next week always felt like the decider.

Not ten minutes gone, but if this was a boxing match, referee would be thinking of stopping the match to avoid needless punishment (to West Brom).

Thats my thinking too, would like to see it go to the last day of the season with both teams needing a win to lift the trophy

12 minutes gone and Spurs have had 84% possession.

Apparently Pulis had his request to drive the team coach onto the pitch turned down.

In that scenario, Leicester would surely wrap it up with a win over Everton on Saturday May 7th.

Of course if a miracle occurred and West Brom beat Spurs, then Leicester would only need to beat United in a match in which Van Gaal may decide to display his deep philosophy, once again, by starting the match with Martial and Rashford at full back.

As it is, West Brom look like they need an A-Z whenever they find themselves in the Spurs half of the pitch.

Awful game at the moment, crowd nervous, West Brom having more possession, Spurs lost the energy with which they started.

Spurs have lost a bit of momentum going forward in the last 15 minutes, though.

Doesn't matter though, they have the lead courtesy of Craig Dawson's armpit.

Not much point parking the bus when you concede goals like that.

Best thing that could have happened from a neutral's point of view- West Brom now need to attack and Spurs can feel more relaxed.

It was a wonderful delivery from Eriksen that led to the goal.

Kyle Walker should've been booked for that completely stupid and unnecessary kick-out.

If he does that kind of thing at Euro 2016, he will be at the very least.

And let's not forget to give Myhill some credit for the goal, not every goalie would have managed to avoid touching the ball the way he did.

Not overly fussed on who wins the league, but I'd rather Leicester not be able to sing about winning the league at Old Trafford every time we play them for the rest of eternity, so I hope Spurs win tonight.

Why is that the Man United fans, more than those of other clubs.who don't have a direct rivalry with either team, seem most against Leicester winning the league?

It's odd that they are so bitter after a couple of poor seasons.
