Unbelievable scenes at Newcastle. Sissoko attempts to commit suicide on behalf of the club by needlessly handling in the penalty area. To the loudest silence I have heard for many a year, Darlow saves the penalty.

Pub quiz info: only one manager won the UEFA Coach of the Year award with two clubs - Rafa.

I can't believe the Mags have relegated Sunderland, thought it was an easy win at Stoke, they've been dire.
Like Leicester v west ham, every point is gold now

Could be the one that keeps them up

Big win for west ham if they hold on

While Leicester will obviously take all the headlines from this season any other year and west ham would be considered a serious success story
They should never have got rid of Alladyce! Look at the state they're in.

Having their relegation confirmed doesn't seem to have stemmed Aston Villa's desire to secure shambolic results.

Today's has involved them turning a 2-0 lead at Watford into a 3-2 defeat by conceding two goals in injury time.

Sunderland's significantly better goal difference could well be what sends Newcastle down.

Are Newcastle still favourites to be relegated even after winning today

Havent checked the odds, but i'd say they are due to the other teams games in hand

Newcastle will win the next game against Villa and Tottenham on the last day is winnable so they still have a great chance of staying up

I wish Commentators would stop giving away results of other matches. Surely it's not that difficult.

Wasn't it 1-1 at half time?

Norwich looking fairly comfortable at the Emirates so far.

Giroud was steaming after that bump on the noggin, bet he sees red in the second half.

Why don't Arsenal's forwards attempt to score rather than going for the extra pass all the time
Must be frustrating supporting them when they have loads of talent but don't utilise it properly

Did Norwich change their tactics after half time as Arsenal have dominated the second half

We started brightly then gave a goal away (twice) and didn't look like coming back into it which has been our problem this season (only gained about 3/4 points after going behind)..

Villa caused us problems on the counter attack and defended well in numbers.

No real threat until Berghuis and Amrabat brought some width and pace to the side as Mitch says then Deeney did his bit (and loved it!)

Maybe the end summed up Villa's season (they'd probably hold out to win in the Championship)

Glad to be officially safe but really do need to have more of a Plan B next season....

Well Newcastle fans had better hope the team that played the final 10 minutes for us turn up against Norwich and Sunderland otherwise they will win.

Can you see Big Sam's mob giving away 2 goals in injury time?...and we never do well at Norwich.

My mistake, it was - so Villa lost after leading twice.

Yes - we scored a free kick right on half time.

I'd say they sould be favourites of the three to stay up. And that was before yesterday too as they had 2 very winnable games out of 3 and they've been in better recent form than Sunderland and Norwich.

So this is it.

This is the day of destiny for Leicester City Football Club.

A club which was playing in League One seven seasons ago and the Championship only two seasons ago.

A club which was staring relegation back to the Championship in the face roughly this time last year.

A club whose last major honour was the League Cup back in 2000.

This hitherto insignificant club from an insignificant city in the East Midlands could be crowned the best team in the land - above sides who dwarf them in terms of intrinsic value - in three hours' time.

They've already written a footballing fairy tale and victory at Man Utd will complete the final paragraph.
