But true - if you look objectively at Leicester's history and achievements up to this point.

You can, of course, describe many other clubs in the same way using such a basis.

Sloppy defending by Leicester deservedly punished.

The way I see it, and it's just a point of view so you can disagree with it, is that no club in the football league and above is an insignificant club, especially not in this day and age. Most clubs if not all have a history that it can be proud of.

This particular chapter in Leicester's history has been pretty remarkable, and I'm not just talking about their title push.

I think if you're in the football league you're a big club. Or a so called "smaller" club in the big stage. Even league 2, the gap is narrowing.

There's big club isn't top of the tier either. There's big clubs, top clubs and the elite.

Leicester might not be one of the top teams but they're certainly not insignificant and haven't been for a while,

Martial possibly helping United take a big stride towards retaining Van Gaal next season.

Clearly you and I are judging this on different parameters so we'll have to agree to disagree.

Have to say this is the poorest start I've seen Leicester make to a match since they put themselves in the title frame; the goal symbolised that with the untypical way their defence were so unaware of Martial and completely left him alone.

Saying that, it's now 1-1

One of the hallmarks of this Leicester side has been their ability to score regardless of how they're playing and it's proven itself once again.

I assume I am one of the last to learn, from the commentator a little while ago on NBC, that it was Ranieri who signed Martial for Monaco from Lyon back in 2013.

Just found a link which says the same, in an article in which Ranieri is defending Martial this season https://uk.sports.yahoo.com/news/ran...051612305.html
