Leicslad, that you?”

It couldn't have been, he would have been with the United fans.

Burnley will be promoted back to the PL if they beat QPR today, due to Middlesborough and Brighton having to play each other on Sunday, so it will be an exciting finish in the Championship if not the PL.

They won't get away with having such a low possession rate in European games, totally different climate in those kind of tournments.

I don't know, I think Continental teams will struggle against a side like Leicester, and will not like playing them.

Mathematical certainty is a great thing to have. I aint taking anything for granted. The gap could be cut to five points or i could be coming on this forum at 2200 tonight and eating a lot of humble pie and posters will be queueing up or getting in line to tell me told you so. We will just have to wait and see which it is

A big plus for Leicester is its Chelsea that spurs play and there is no way on this earth that Chelsea will want spurs to win the title and the fact winning this game ends their title hopes will be an added bonus.

I think Spurs can win at Chelsea. Like to see it going to the last game tbh.

Not quite as Brighton could win big against Derby today and overtake Burnley's goal difference. Then a win for Boro' against Brighton on the final day and a defeat for Burnley could still send Burnley in to the play-offs.

Burnley will definitely be promoted today if they win and Brighton fail to beat Derby.

I think it'll be a draw.

Unless the raw meat Chelsea will have been eating the past few days is dodgy, I expect Chelsea to relish playing a Spurs team still reeling from its dropped points against West Brom, the failure of United to beat Leicester and from the absence of Alli. Chelsea to put the final nail in Spurs title ambitions, at least for this season - score draw.

I think 2-2 tonight but would love to see spurs win then Leicester can win the league at home.

Although if it went to the last game of the season I would love it.

Atletico are doing alright without dominating possession.

Yes, 26% against Bayern - and that's fairly typical. The difference is that Huth and Morgan may struggle more with the more technical teams that don't tend to throw balls into the box - Leicester's defeats in the PL have been against such sides (Arsenal and Liverpool).

They do have a bit more experience in European competitions than Leicester do tbf.

Indeed. That'll almost certainly be an area they'll look to strengthen in this summer. Can't expect the old boys to go another season injury free and also play a bunch of extra games against Euro sides.

That wasn't your argument though. I agree lack of experience will probably count against them, but there isn't any reason to think that their playing style will cause them any major issues.

Interestingly, what you are saying about Leicester and lack of possession in the Champions League is just what I was wrongly saying about them in the Premier League to my Leicester supporting friend around Xmas. Back then I said I couldn't see how Vardy could keep up the phenomenal strike rate he had been enjoying from Leicester's very limited possession and attendant few chances and predicted Leicester would start drawing matches too frequently for them to sustain a title challenge.

IOW, I couldn't see how they could win the premier league with such low possession. I suspect I was not alone in that belief. I think they could make the Champions League quarter finals if they can retain the best of their current squad.

We'll just have to wait and see. I'd also argue Madrid have far more quality within the squad to cope when the other team has the ball. Up until recently Leicester's defence hasn't been the best. Before the run of 1-0 wins the amount of goals being conceded was pretty bad for a team so high up the table. I also think they have had quite a lot of luck this season which I often think helps any team going for the title.

I actually thought United could easily have won yesterday, until the second half that is.

It would have been fitting that the dream became a reality at the theatre of dreams yesterday. But it wasnt to be. I wonder if the dream becomes real tonight. That remains to be seen. That said leicester will be in overdrive tonight should it happen

Just want to clear the matter of my posts during this season. I would like to apologise once again for my wayward posts. The brain werent in gear when posting. I promise to be more thoughtful in posting in the future.

It's probably just down to a bit of giddiness. It's all been a bit surreal for Leicester fans this season.

Though Arsenal's winner in their home match was a last minute header from a set piece so it's not like they were technically outdone.

Well done Burnley, back in the top flight after only one season away.

Wonder how long it'll be before Joey Barton sends his first crowing tweet at being a PL player once again.
