Too bad if you wanted to watch MOTD after the news not knowing the Chelsea result.
Too bad if you want to watch it next season without Lineker in his underpants.

Remember the first MOTD next season, Lineker presenting in his slacks

Sky will be getting their last day drama, just not at the end of the table that they had hoped for

Absolutely.

Just compare the way he's conducted himself with subtlety and grace all the way through this season to the quite opposite way Mourinho was carrying on at the start of the season.

Well, the latter got fired and the former won the title.

There is a man, though, who kickstarted this whole process just over a year ago who I don't think deserves to be forgotten even though he was a lunatic - Nigel Pearson.

He kept Leicester up and paved the way for this to happen.
Plus no mind games at all this season it seemed, he was just a really nice guy, it is just impossible to dislike the bloke.

He deserves all of the praise that will inevitably come his way.

Anyone else find it amusing, and a bit pathetic, that the Chelsea players put more of an effort in for Ranieri and Leicester tonight than they have for either of their actual managers this season?
Yep, small club mentality comes to mind

I certainly don't expect a 5,000-1 team winning the premier league in my lifetime again.
No, but I think it'll be more down to the bookies never offering those kind of odds again on teams. Burnley, Middlesbrough and, for the sake of argument, Brighton would all get long odds if they all do end up promoted, but I don't think it would be any greater than 500/1.

The bookies won't ever want to chance getting caned like this ever again.

But they haven't got caned financially They've made a killing.

Over 95% of the money taken by bookies on teams to win the prem was on the top 5 favourites...

If you don't want to know tonight's main news headline, look away now.

Well done, Leicester!

Dont remember us turning up just to stop man city winning the league or anyone else.

Chelsea players have being ringing it in all season then all of a sudden they can be bothered to play 1 game. Chelsea put more effort in that final 45 minutes than the whole of joses time this season.

The last I read, they still had over 25 people holding open bets at 5000/1 and they said they were facing a payout in excess of £5 million pounds. They'll still consider it a caning, regardless of the profit they might have made on the other losing bets.

Now what are the chances of Leicester winning the Champions league
The odds will be long enough to be worth a punt I think - it'll be at least 50/1, maybe even as high as 100/1.

The odds on them getting relegated next season will be similar so i'll certainly be having a punt on both.

In which case it will serve them right if Elvis turns up next season (also 5000-1)

We are man united and want to win every game not just to stop rivals but to win every game, that should be chelseas mentality cause if it was they would be top 4 instead of 9th place.

Bookies will always win. They'll have made more than they'll payout on people betting on the likes of Man City and Man United, and maybe even outsiders like Liverpool. And next season they'll earn even more by people doing that and placing stupid bets on other outsiders. I expect a few bets to go on West Ham and Southampton, Leicester again and whoever out of Sunderland and Newcastle that stay up.

I was a bit annoyed by Hazard's pre-match talk but TBH the way Spurs sliced them open in the first half showed exactly why Chelsea are where they are this season. The second-half fightback is the least any fan should expect from a top team playing at home. Spurs collapse into thuggery was more amusing.

Odds on Burnley winning the league next season??

More or less than 5000/1??!!
I'm doing it in an each-way double with Leciester to win the Champions League

Spot on Nova. And the publicity has been fantastic for the bookies as well. Not to mention all the early cash-outs from panicky punters that haven't been able to hold their nerves. None quite as bad as that poor soul that cashed-out his 5000/1 bet for 45p after the first match of the season.....

But you wouldn't give them a free pass even in these last few years when you have been way off the pace. Seriously what did you expect.
Not sure how the second most successful PL club can be considered small time but I guess thats your opinion
I agree about the players but no idea how that reflects on the club itself.
