Good God, man... you've actually posted something I agree with. Don't let that happen again. It's unnerving.
finishing third in a group would be an effort, the fact that they are top seeds is immaterial as the likes of borussia Dortmund, even Barcelona if they don't win the league would be in pot two

Spurs collapse into thuggery was more amusing
Equally as amusing as Chelsea's OTT theatrics every time a tackle went in ..

I'm sure they weren't all charging the ref each time to congratulate him on his choice of whistle for the evening.

Tbf they were both as bad as each other. Got to admire Chelsea though, never seen them so fired up. Pity they could only do it for one game this season.

Didn't sway the ref or change the outcome though did it? Spurs could easily have been down to nine players just on the actual tackles that the ref saw, let alone the off the ball nonsense.

Absolutely. They goaded Spurs and, unfortunately, we responded and will probably come off worse for it once the FA review the game.

And your second point is spot on as well. We finally saw the team that deservedly won the title last year, so why wait until the season is over to show it ?

Indeed. Spurs lost the plot completely in the last 10 minutes and I wouldn't be surprised if a few bans resulted.

However Chelsea's behaviour was an embarrassment throughout the evening. Haranguing the referee after every foul led by their delightful captain, throwing themselves to the floor and ridiculous theatrics, with Fabregas the worst offender.

Fabregas' one was funny for being so ridiculous. Running round to everyone pretty much shouting "MY HAND ! LOOK AT MY HAND !" after realising that rolling around on the floor with a poorly hand didn't quite add up.

I think a charge of failing to control players should be levelled at both clubs tbh.

Not so much interested in the bans that follow as I'd hope that Spurs learn all the necessary lessons from that match because IMO they're the only other prem team that would have been worthy champions.

Deservedly two-nil up and practically coasting - then that. Blame Chelsea's drama-kings all you want, Spurs should have closed that out.

Blimey you have a real thing about Chelsea don't you, not noticed that before.

Chelsea were kicked off the park for most of that game but it was all them at fault.
Yeah right oh.

All Spurs had to do was play football but they were brainless and the occasion got to big for them. I guess they are not used to it.

And Spurs fell for it. No brains your boys. You were playing us off the park but suddenly wanted you to kick us off it instead.

Anyone else find it amusing, and a bit pathetic, that the Chelsea players put more of an effort in for Ranieri and Leicester tonight than they have for either of their actual managers this season?
I wouldnt go as far as pathetic, but definitely embarrassing. What i did find pathetic was the chelsea fans singing Ranieri songs and bringing so many different Leicester supporting banners to the match.

But very well done Leicester, amazing achievement. Slightly anti-climactic for the neutral to see Sky sports convey the title with continuous split screen shots of a bunch of drunk nobodies in a Leic pub. It would have been so nice to see them win the title by winning a home match, like next week at home to Everton.

No excuses from me. We certainly did fall for it big time.

The sad thing is, Chelsea showed in the second half how good they can be which makes the need for all the theatrics and referee harassment completely unnecessary.

Just imagine if that was Costa doing the eye gouging, this forum would be going mad and that United fan would be starting yet another thread on him.

You could see Tottenham lacking that experience on winning a title. Too many young heads cost them, but they will learn from this and will be stronger for next season

You wait till the CL next season mate especially if you get a Spanish team.

Spurs were playing so well I couldn't see Chelsea get near them. Hazard changed it.

Chelsea v Spurs next season will be interesting games .......

I liked the way Costa still grabbed the wrong eye when shouting in pain.

Even on breakfast news this morning one man's name keeps being mentioned as usual: Vardy, Vardy, Vardy.

Might as well as forget the other 10 and only have him on the pitch.

Neither team covered themselves in glory last night but from an England point of view I hope the likes of Dier and Kane don't lose their cool as much in the Euros if things aren't going our way...

Don't let your prejudice get in the way of the facts. If Spurs had kept their heads, they would be waking up this morning with their title hopes still just about alive.
I don't know what possessed them in the second half, they appeared intent on kicking everything that moved apart from the ball. Even normally sensible players joined In on the act.
To end up with nine yellow cards from a referee who hates Chelsea and was bending over backwards to be lenient, takes some doing. Yes, there were some theatrics, but looking at a compilation of the disgraceful fouls committed, it was lucky that there were no serious injuries. Some OTT reactions from a few Chelsea players, but the fouls were real enough !

Well done Leicester! The nightmare scenario of them winning the title while sat on a sofa has happened -there is a nice video of some celebrations on the sky sports website though.
