And we don't get two all-Spanish European finals now, thankfully.

I still don't rate Liverpool but klopp seems to making the players play way about their abilities .

Sign of a good manager I suppose

Pleased for Liverpool actually. Hopefully they can go on and lift the trophy and qualify for the Champions League proper.

Liverpool the only (non-spanish) team to beat a Spanish side in a knockout tie in European competition this season. Phenomenal achievement and what a great decision to get Klopp in when they did before others could sniff around him. Klopp's Liverpool v Guardiola's City v Pochettino's Spurs next season should be quite something.

Turning that around it will be only the fourth time in 48 two legged ties than a Spanish team has lost to a non Spanish team in a two legged tie

You are right about Klopp's Liverpool and next season is a genuinely exciting prospect; remains to be seen if United will join the party, Chelsea will, I feel sure.

Too early for Chelsea and United imo who'll both be rebuilding. Could be pool, city, spurs, arsenal (till april ) in race

Well done to Liverpool but it's the baggage that comes with Liverpool that stops me getting behind them

Klopp just got a team to a European final with Kolo Toure as one of the centre backs. That's a bigger achievement than Leicester winning the title!

What baggage? The fact that they're English?

Tough to call final but while I'm on this forum im going to predict sevilla will walk it as they're spanish and all their sides are soooo much better than PL ones, and they have players with cool names ive seen on highlight reels on youtube and theyre far better than the ones we actually watch play 90 mins regularly

Toure is a fine defender even still, never understand all the derision he receives. Top class in his prime

You mean the Kolo Toure who's won 2 PL titles, been to a CL final and won the Africa Cup of Nations just last year? Yes, that's really something.

Actually I give Liverpool a good chance I saw Sevilla live at home against real sociedad at the start of April I thought they were really poor although they have saved their best form for Europe

Toure has been excellent for most of the season. Never understood how he came to be this joke player.

Congratulations Liverpool. Exciting game and incredible Anfield atmosphere. I hope the Man City players were watching that and picked up a few tips about how to play a European semi.

Classic Jurgen Klopp at the end. Whether you support his team or not he must be one of the most likeable managers currently in football. Along with Mr Ranieri of course!

I think you'll find all football clubs with a past do that from time to time.
