I felt sure about a number of things today, I was wrong about roughly the same number of things.

Sunderland are playing with the same sort of focus and determination with which Leicester avoided relegation last season.

hehe I knew that one was coming.

I will stick my neck out and say no, they won't win the league next year.

4-1 to Swansea, who would have predicted that scoreline before the match?!

Well he does need to rush off to Leicester to change into their kit to lift the trophy!

At lunchtime on the BBC football programme they said Huth was doing a Terry and getting his kit on for the presentation

That's Sunderland surely staying up. I can't see them now not winning against one of Everton or Watford.

Will be interesting to see if Rafa takes charge of Newcastle next season. There'd be a lot of respect for him if he did, he could walk into pretty much most top flight jobs.

No chance of him staying at Newcastle when their relegation is confirmed, his ego is far too huge to be classing himself as a Championship manager.

He might go and get the Spanish national team job after the Euro's I think.

Defoe again showing how valuable a reliable goalscorer is. Newcastle and Norwich don't have that, and they're both likely to go down.

Or to be more accurate, he'll have better options.

I would have thought that Cisse was that type or sort of player for Newcastle, but he has been a huge let down.

Harsh to say its his ego that would prevent him staying. The contract has a break in it if the club go down and his reputation makes him far better than Championship level. I dont think its any shame on him if he leave and I also dont think he would be the right man to take Newcastle back up anyway.

He will have better options, but he will not want to be managing below the top division wherever he decides to go.

I would have so much more respect for him if he did stick with them, and did try to get them back up, but I doubt very much that he will do just that.
He does come across as wanting to only manage as high up as possible for him (which is not a bad thing per say, just that in this case, he would be leaving them in a bit of a mess).

Let them milk it. This might never happen again in our lifetime's. Still can't get my head round it

I thought it was all agreed before hand that the break was there for both parties? Newcastle got a quality manager to give them a shot at staying up and if it didn't work both walk away from each other?

I didn't think he was leaving them in any mess, just doing what was already agreed.

I think most top managers would wish to manage at the highest possible level, again I feel you are being quite harsh there.

An opera singer battling to be heard over 30000 pissed up Leicester fans singing is a bit embarrassing. Just get the game on.
