Could be consecutive relegations for Blackpool today .

Fleetwood 48 pts ( -6)
Blackpool 46 pts ( -19)
Doncaster 45 pts ( -16)

Doncaster are virtually down , It's between Blackpool & Fleetwood

Fleetwood v Crewe
Peterborough v Blackpool

Charlton & Blackpool , seems to be a pattern, owners screwing up ., not interested Suppose Villa could be added as well

Feel sorry for the fans but I think Blackpool have done quite well to take it to the final day after the way they started the season
Can't remember if they had any contracted players a week before the season started

If Sunderland win on Wednesday and Manchester United don't win at West Ham, will there be anything left to play for on the final day ?

Depends how Man City do today... if they don't win Man U could catch them even on the final day.

How on earth did Mark Clattenburg get to officiate yesterday

I know the players didn't help, but his performance last Monday was inept

Do the FA publish the marks that refs get ?

Ah , Ok

Just wondering which game(s) they may show live if nothing is at stake

He should've sent Arter off as well yesterday.

Seems to let a lot go.

Well if Arsenal beat City and Spurs can't beat Southampton then the issue of 2nd place will go to the final day.

If West Ham actually beat United but then cock it up on the last day, Liverpool can actually sneak in to 5th spot as well.

If Arsenal do beat City, then Liverpool would actually finish equal points with City but 5th by goal difference.

There are a few more permutations of what can happen, so I think there'll be plenty to be decided on the final day.

I was saying................City finished below Leicester as well as Spurs and every other team in the Prem did so as well !............It really wasn't that tricky !
The original point is Spurs finishing behind Man City would have been easier to accept as that's the status quo, whereas they've just wasted their best chance at a title by finishing behind a side that was threatened with relegation the season before. It's really not that tricky.

They've finished second or maybe third to the best side in the country, it's irrelevant where they finished last season. The maximum points they can get this season is 76, no team has won the PL with so few points, in most seasons that would only have been good enough to get them third or fourth place. They haven't shown championship winning form this season.

It'd be interesting to see the robots who only compare their side to statistics and not the teams around them.

And also when he does crack down normally gets it wrong.
The West Ham lad springs to mind.

To be fair it is commonsense thinking!

Leicester is a wonderful, amazing, epic story, but really the top teams should be ashamed of their seasons as a whole.

I'm not a robot, I'm just stating facts, if Tottenham play next season like they have this season they'll be lucky to qualify for the Champions League.

I'm not saying you are, but I can't imagine too many Spurs fans are ambivalent to finishing second to Leicester no matter how their points stack up against the average.

Just think how I as a Liverpool supporter feel about it then, if somebody had said to me at the start of the season we'd finish over 20 points behind Leicester, I'd have been thinking we'll be relegated, on the other hand if somebody had said we'd finish above Chelsea, I'd have been thinking we'd be in a CL place or would even win the league, in reality we're struggling to finish in a Europa League spot. It's been a very strange season.

In the season long prediction comp, 15 of the 23 players tipped Leicester to be in the bottom 4 including me

According to MOD2 Extra a short while ago, not only did Clattenburg have a good game refereeing Chelsea v Spurs - not sending anyone off made it more entertaining, etc - they all admired and enjoyed the way Spurs lost their heads and got 9 yellows, (although of course they didn't put it like that; 'good old fashioned 70s football'). Not one person even hinted that maybe if Spurs had focussed on playing football as they had mainly done in the first half, they might have been able to score another goal and win the game. Impossible to respect people coming out with that sort of drivel.

2013/2014 Championship winning year 102 pts. The same amount of PL pts acculumated since april 4th 2015 up to may 7th 2016. Amazing achievement. The KIng Power looked amazing yesterday. Leicester City had a party which was 132 years in the making. Hospitals in the city had walking wounded from the celebrations. Anyone watched the vid montage at end of SNF and not feel emotional. This season the footballing world have seen history in the making and it feels great. Thank you leicester city for a truly amazing season

Entertaining game at White Hart Lane, both sides creating chances. Spurs looking so much better when trying to kick the ball and not the opposition.

No sooner did I post the above when Spurs score 1-0

You also get the strange comments from the spurs manager saying what happened showed they're not a soft touch and it also showed character. I suppose it's better than saying the players lost the plot because of what was at stake. No doubt both Chelsea and spurs will be fined which for me is not enough.

Southampton deservedly equalise. Game is very pleasing for a neutral to watch.

Oh when the Saints/Spurs go marching in ...

Good chance for Kane, one on one with Forster, easily seen off by the Southampton goalie.
