I assume Wiltshire and Walcott will walk into the England squad

This is what I read about them finishing between 5th and 7th-

However, if Liverpool win the Europa League and finish in fifth, sixth or seventh, their spot in next season's Europa League will not go to another Premier League team.

It will just mean the Premier League will next season have five representatives in the Champions League and two in the Europa League.

Walcott has no chance of making the England squad

So if Liverpool finish 8th but win the Europa would be only the circumstances of an extra team in Europe

The way this season has gone, if I were you I'd be worrying about Bournemouth doing a Norwich at Old Trafford.

Total disaster if City don't make the Champions League but now I reckon Man U are favourites.
Dreadful result against Southampton, spent 180 minutes admiring Real Madrid thinking they had won by getting to the semi-final, and typically drawing a game they had to win today.
No doubt a fair few players writing their resignation letters in the last three games and a rather grim end for Pelligrini -plus a potential year setback for Guardiola.

Tottenham secure a place in the cl group today looks like they will be borderline 2nd seeds but more likely thirds seeds in it.

Whoever finishes 4th will have a challenge as the likes of villireal, fennerbache or Ajax could be a challenge earlier in the season

Let's see how they skirt over the poor season

Hardly. I can't wait to see the back of the dinosaur. Even sitting in traffic outside would be more entertaining then listening to Peller's do a speech and clap over paid tossers who haven't tried this season.

Souness has changed his tune he normally says they have the best squad in the league

Pellegrini to the City fans "Please, don't ever change"

With you all the way on that one pal.

Limitless money supply but its still a huge job for Guardiola. There are a few shining stars to build around, but City even when they won the two titles were never wholly dominant. Something has always been lacking, they have lost too many crucial games and have looked mostly lost in Europe. There has to be a constant desire and hunger throughout the team, they can win 8-0 but then switch off the next game.

You are absolutely right. What a season it has been, there's bound to be another twist before it ends.

Both our league wins were a big struggle. Of course winning it in at the very last minute was amazing and seeing Liverpool throw it away was fun as well but like you say, with all the money and great players we are yet to dominate the league like we could and should.

We need to be a team not just some excellent players who when on form produce some great results. Watching us midweek against Madrid summed us up. Just no hunger or fight what so ever.

Pep has a big job on his hands and not to sure he understands how big job it will be. Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and Utd will all come back stronger next year and teams like Leicester, Southampton and West Ham will be strong still. Not a league like Spain or Germany where only 2/3 strong teams. Big test for him

I want Van Gaal out and I think he'll will stay unfortunately if we get top 4.

The silver lining would be Pep playing in the Europa league though.

More blue seats.

Half expect Van Gaal to pull it off and beat West Ham on Tuesday and Bournemouth next week.

No champions league for Guardiola, No Man Utd job for Mourinho.

Surely the decision about Mourinho and Van Gaal was taken a good few weeks/months ago. I find it difficult to believe Mourinho would be hanging around waiting to see if the phone rings.

See this is the dilemma.

Van Gaal in CL
Jose in the Europa.

Probably still go for the latter. This squad is far better than the results suggest imo.
