There might only be the minor placing to sort out for the Europa sixth guaranteeing a spot .
If West Ham finish sixth a Europa league qualifier will be the first competitive game at the new ground. That might mean a repeat of last nights "ceremony" |

Norwich always seem to be one of the most forgettable teams in the PL
I'd say if you did a survey around the country asking people to name the 20 PL teams, they'd be the least team people would recall not one bit sorry to see them gone tbh, they're very "meh" like Hull and Burnley in recent years Sorry to see Newcastle going down, a proud PL club over the years. Have a soft spot for Sunderland though! |

Awful that even if you win tonight its out of your hands when it comes to going down. Looks like norwich and newcastle is EFL bound

Oh, they'll still find a way to make "City or United for 4th" sound like an epic last day title decider!
It was a forlorn hope at best, hardly "right back in it" |

Sunderland deserve the lead, everton are so poor. Martinez will be gone tomorrow for sure. Feel sorry for norwich as they at times have played so e good football but just not getting the right results.

Perhaps some Sunderland fans on here can answer but is fourth bottom the same target each season.
As I said above for about five seasons now, they toil all season then start to finds some form in April and manage to stay up. |

If i was Everton, i would get Frank de Boer. He has done a great job at Ajax apart from not winning the title on the final day even though they were playing a team near the bottom
I stiil cant believe that Ajax did not win the title |

Maybe but some suffer from injuries far less than others. Have Leicester had any starter ruled out long term this season, for example?
You're just way too black and white in your thinking To say there are less questions about leicester next season than City/United/Chelsea is laughable. Anyhow you said a few weeks ago City wouldn't be favourites (despite everyone disagreeing with you) and now they are, that's all I'm pointing out. I'm no City lover but your bias is laughable. These are facts- they are factually favourites Leicester have at least the foundations of a good squad (provided that they can keep them together), that is far more than you can say about any of the other challenges to their title, bar perhaps Spurs. A lot of the thinking perhaps behind the bookies making them favourites (which as we have seen with 5000/1 Leicester means jack all), is because they must be thinking that they will be splashing the cash and drastically improving this current squad, as it is no where near good enough to mount a title challenge next season as it is currently made up. |

Anyone would think Sunderland gave suddenly morphed into Barcelona the way the media have written off Everton. The visitors have plenty of quality out there despite Martinez. I bet Sky are desperate for an Everton win to make Sunday interesting.

Indeed, I shouldn't have quoted you in fairness, was more a general comment!
Haha exactly tbh. That said 11/2 is still relatively long odds for them (Paddy Power), bookies pretty much have it down as a one-horse race as of now. Objectively (in the spirit of the thread ) it is hard to disagree, a fully fit City squad with new additions should definitely win the leagueAs if it is something like five or more new quality additions, then yes I would be agreeing with you (well depending on who they were of course), but the current City squad with say only two new additions, nope, that wouldn't be good enough in my eyes. They need new defenders as they cannot rely on Kompany being fit for any lengthy period of time, if or when he is fit, they should now consider that a bonus. Their wide players like Sterling and Navas are absurdly below par, and they need to replace Yaya. So that would be the bare minimum that they need to do, if they manage to do that, with suitable replacements, and others do not also improve their squads, then yes I would make them favourites. |

City might be bringing in Guardiola, however their squad is a mess, as I said previously, they only have about three or four players who have done anything of note this season, so quite why you think appointing a new manager, and hey presto things will be manically better once again I don't know

Spurs have the best squad are only short of maybe another quality striker . City could just as easily do a Chelsea next season |

I agree guardiola doesn't know the premier league if they finish fifth they could struggle to get big names signing for them. Although that applies to united as well.
