Man Utd could do a lot worse than Bilic as manager.

I wonder what sort of valuations Payet and Marhez would be at if anyone were interested in trying to sign them this summer?
Their values must have gone up dramatically since their respective clubs signed them! |

Doesn't matter, with the new TV deal nobody will be able to sign them.

What a great win!
Arsenal had most of the ball naturally but didn't think they created that much until near the end (and you need some luck in a cup run with regard to that Welbeck miss) A cracking strike from Guedioura and nice to see Ighalo get his goal. Excellent atmosphere. Roll on Wembley. |

Pleased for the Palace, Watford and Everton fans. Hopefully West Ham will finish the job and complete a great FA Cup semi final line up.
Also, big respect to the Spurs fans today applauding and joining the Villa fans in the anti Lerner songs and booing the stewards who confiscated the "Lerner Out" banners. The "Lerner for Arsenal" chants were particularly good! Good luck to both Spurs and Leicester in the title race. |

I wonder if Rafa can stir a performance out of Newcastle tonight?

It will probably be the case that newcastle will get a result.
It is always the case that players tend to up their game when the previous manager has been shown the door. |

Meanwhile here is a genuinely affectionate piece on Leicester City by a real supporter, Gary Lineker, in today's Guardian entitled "Nothing compares to this truly magical title charge by my Leicester City",

Fancy tonight's game to be a very good one. Think it'll be a draw, maybe 2-2.

what you thinking 10 nil to the toon?
We have forum posters who question my loyalty to leicester city. I support them regardless of result and regardless of league they are playing in. I aint a glory hunter who supports a team when they are doing good and when they are going through a bad patch latch on to the next best thing. |

Be interesting to see how Leicester deal with the way Newcastle play this game with Newcastle not allowing them to play their usual game of long ball over the top on the counter attack.

I think Rafa can keep them up. They have a better team than their position suggests. The fans need to support them not get on the players backs whenever they go a goal down like now because that certainly won't help the team.

Great finish by Okazaki. Leicslad will be happy, that goal should keep them up in the Premier League.
