I'm not sure why there is any question about Rafa staying. It is not as though he signed the contract ages ago and would be completely shocked and surprised by the fact of relegation. Being relegated was the most likely outcome of the relatively few matches Rafa had in charge and he would surely have been pleased with some of the signs he has seen in that brief time. As far as I am concerned, only someone with little integrity would not stay at least for another year and I would like to think Rafa is not that sort of person.

There is a break clause in the contract.

Roman looked happy to hear that which begs the question why wasn't a contract offered months ago. Very bizarre. No idea what has happened to Chelsea this season. I'm not sure they'll run away with title next season because there will a lot teams strengthening next season so it could be even tougher.

It's more dramatic reporting from the car park! I'm sure they're trying to get hold of footage of the controlled explosion as we speak.

This might be one of the very few occasions this season when United fans have left Old Trafford without blaming van Gaal for a lousy experience.

More seriously, I do hope this turns out to be a stupid prank by a silly sod and is not something much more sinister. I have no wish to relive the experience of bombing and all the false alarms of the 70s and 80s (I'm remembering the provisional IRA mainland bombing campaign).

The best outcome for Newcastle: The owner buggering off, the manager staying... it would also be easier for the rest of us to wish them the best of luck then, instead of through gritted teeth. (Except those from the wrong side of the river, obviously).

Welcome back Spurs - we missed you guys! To implode against ten men takes something special.

Its shame Flores won't be there next season. Yes Watford tailed off towards the end but I think that was mainly because they secured premiership status so maybe lost a bit of focus but it's still a ludicrous decision to let him go. Hopefully he'll find another club in the prem. Good luck to him.

I am told that the initial result of the controlled explosion at OT is that the device was an 'elaborate hoax'.

Find The person who left it and throw the book at them.

Yes I think he is a good manager, but I doubt that he will get another job in the Premier League in the short term.

I think he will go back to Spain personally.

Disgraceful what some people do today, simply no need at all.

Yes, what would Norwich give to be in Watford's position? It is no mean achievement to survive, with some degree of comfort, the first season in the premier league. We shall see next season if Watford live to regret the loss of Flores.

You wonder what goes through some people's heads sometimes. I hope they track the cretin down and hammer them.

Especially in the current climate, what that person has done is beyond Idiotic. They need to be made an example of.

To go to such lengths when you already have a manager capable of emptying a stadium.... Seriously, though, I hope a custodial sentence is the punishment if they catch up with this idiot.

Sky news just now has not confirmed this is a hoax and have not used the word at all.

Have gone on to say they explicitly have not been informed officially of what the package was; reports it was an elaborate hoax have not been confirmed..They restated they do not know at this stage what the package was.
