Think that's LVG saved for another season. Poor Jose.

It is very unusual to have four major cup finals on at the same time

Palace Man United
Bayern Dortmund
AC Milan Juventus
Marseille PSG
It is unusual. There was also hibs v rangers. Not quite on the same level still a final which wasn't bad actually until hibs fans went and ruined it at the end. Don't have btsport so can't watch Bayern v Dortmund. Is Marseille game not on TV?

Unfortunately not making top 4 has sealed his fate.

Great strike from Lingard but my word Palace wont have many better chances than that. They have fabulous supporters, feel a bit sorry for them.

United have partly rescued their season, but it was more Cliff Thorburn than Ronnie O'Sullivan to use a Snooker analogy. Interesting summer ahead in the managerial and transfer market-and once again English football will be the story to follow next season.

Rooney's first time lifting a trophy as captain?

Another lift to come in mid July eh?

For me the centre of England's defence has been unconvincing ever since Terry and Rio hung up their international boots.

With relief he has won a trophy - so he doesn't need to go home with his tail between his legs - and with great pleasure, so the constipated turgid style of play for which he is responsible can be consigned to a very bad part of United's history..

Reasons LVG will go. Man u played some of the worst football they've played for many years which has resulted in their value dropping by 1billon. They failed to get into top 4. Winning fa cup will have zero effect on the boards decision.

The BBC don't usually get involved at the rumour stage, so it must have some actual legs this time.
