One of the worst penalties you will ever see in a shootout in the bayern game.

Bayern win the Double. Pep leaves with another trophy.

I think in years to come we'll all be telling the grandkids about the day some cup finals went to extra time on the same day. Save the 'I saw 25 corners in one game once' talk for the deathbed, hold the big guns back.

But not the one he really wanted which means it's been an OK spell at Bayern

He had some cracking interviews, although mostly ones that I wish that he had not said.

How much do you think Louis will get? £5m or more?

One thing that bothers me. How has Chris Smalling got anywhere near the England Squad never mind the Man Utd one ?

I wouldn't be surprised if a match costing mistake happens at the Euros due to him.”

Name 4 centre halves that should be ahead of him for England.

Gary Cahill

And the Scottish one wasn't far off it!

Ryan Shawcross already has one cap too many.

John Stones is much more of a liability than Smalling, in fact i'd actually say Smalling is England's best CB.

It must be my bad luck that the times I've seen him, he makes Carlton Palmer look like a ballet dancer. Even before he was sent off today.

Chris Smalling probably IS our best CB, but he's not exactly superb. Gone are the days when we had the likes of Terry, Ferdinand, Campbell and Carragher all at their peak.

Smalling is fine - in the confines of the penalty area. Like early in his career, he popped up today almost on the halfway line in a rash attempt to probably cover for someone else's mistake. Hopefully Dier and company will ensure this won't recur for England.

On a completely separate topic, good to see Patrick Vieira doing well in management, his American City team lost 7-0 in the derby at home to Red Bulls!

Sure making his case to follow Guardiola a good one so far!

Some of you guys wouldn't recognise a good game of football if ........ you saw one .

Everyone agrees ( apart from Pardew ) that the ManU - Palace game was crap , whereas I saw more football player in the first ten minutes of the German game than the whole 90 of the game you saw .
