I saw the clip on sky sports news of Lampard coming on as sub and getting booed

Apparently it's the 11th game of the season and it's his first appearance. They also mentioned that he gets paid more than the rest of the team put together which is an odd way to build team spirit

No wonder they're shipping seven

That show is embarrassing

His marriage to bleakley and that programme are ruining his legacy.

You dont seem to have much time for anyone once they leave Chelsea? I dont think his legacy is really affected by who he is married to.

Doesn't explain why he's getting booed unless lampard is choosing not to play.

The FA Cup Final was an alright game. It got better as the game went on and it was a fantastic winning goal.

That was the reason he left City's Under......sorry Development Squad, so that he could get management experience, and come back and follow Guardiola, after he has finished his stint as boss.

Not exactly going to plan so far.

Apparently Lampard has never been forgiven by the New York fans for signing for them but then going straight out on loan to City and staying there long enough to miss games for New York.

Plus they are seen by rival fans as very much a retirement home for players (what with Pirlo and Villa there as well).

Lampard really should have just retired after his Man City spell, as he has nothing to gain by being out there.

Coming on at 5-0 down to Red Bulls, must have been a tiny slap in the face for him.

New York, one of the most exciting cities in the world - earning lots of money, what's not to like?

I'm sure he can suffer being booed while his bank balance goes up.

It's got a McDonald's so it's just the same as any other city remember.

Be interesting to see who Roy picks as his captain today, seeing as no Rooney available to him.

It is a very strange time to have a match, the very next day after the Cup final, I wonder why they scheduled it for today??

Because they want to fit three warm up games in before the tournament and want to leave a reasonable amount of time between them. Quite looking forward to today's game as I hope the Dier/Alli/Vardy/Kane core freshens things up a bit and we play some fearless football for once.

Nice to see the F.A supporting grass roots football by scheduling an England game on Non-League finals day.

Also as a Newcastle fan it was immensely satisfying to see Pardew lose another F.A Cup final yesterday, even moreso after his smug little dance

Ahhh it's good to see some Newcastle fans still live in ignorance that getting rid of Pardew was a positive move for your club. Enjoy the Championship next season!

Just saw a hiddink set for stay at Chelsea on sports news. Not sure if its AM role or something else. Be interesting if he did stay.

So his departure had NOTHING to do with the fact the vast majority of the fans didn't like him then? He got dog's abuse most weeks. Nice spin to make things look better I'd suggest.

Yep, the fans wanted him out and the fans got what they deserve. Maybe they should be refusing season tickets next season and send a message to the ashley to leave the club.

Newcastle fans wont do that there already preparing a bus parade for next may according to some fans.
