Getting a bit over run at the moment.

Russia, Wales and Slovakia will be laughing their heads off watching this. The defence is non-existent.

Just can not understand why Kane is taking all of the free kicks,
Good atmosphere for an england friendly

Turkey are no mugs, they were the hottest (in terms of moving up the rankings) team in the FIFA rankings in the last year, thumped Netherlands 3-0 in the Euro Qualifiers and haven't lost in around 18 months. I think they are better than any team England played in the qualifiers. And it shows. Good test for England.

The shambolic midfield is adding to the fun too. Wilshires last give away nearly lead to a goal.

And this is the midfield England fans want to be played, in general. People will moan if Henderson returns but, watching today, you have to wonder whether he will.

The Turks don't half keep the ball well.

They aren't playing as a team, all too busy trying to show off to Roy how good they are, without actually doing so = dire!

Anyone would look good in possession when compared to England.

Did Hoddle just say Stones is getting better and better as a defender? Has he watched Everton this season?

I presumed Henderson , Milner and Rooney will all be starters.

He probably said 'for me' ahead of the statement....

Someone needs to have a serious talk with Alli; his temper is on far too short a fuse at international level.

He'll be the fall guy if he's not careful - sent off in a key match because he cannot control his temper a la Beckham v Simeone.

He's only a kid , so he will be getting better surely . It's his confidence that needs rebuilding I reckon . ability-wise he's as good as any CB around , I'd say.

It's a pity Stones didn't go to Chelsea , he'd have learned a lot from John Terry.

Quick free-kick, then over-hit cross to no-one. Classic.

Oh my, that's a terrible penalty miss.

Kane tried to wrap his foot around it too much.
