Defoe

Rashford's participation almost certainly depends on the fitness of Sturridge.

Is Roy picking five strikers or four as my picks would be

Kane
Vardy
Rooney
Sturridge
Rashford

Notice England move much slower without the Spurs contingent .

I know Australia's, good era squad has long gone but outwith jedinak and rogic don't know much of this team

Cracking header by Dier...

That's the most perfectly timed diving header I've seen in a long while.

I know the press have been having a right go at our defence a lot recently, but after the last two friendlies I think we have a bigger problem in midfield. Both Turkey and Oz have walked through them with no resistance whenever they have wanted. There's zero steel there and no protection to our shaky back four.

Great finish.

Bet you a tenner he doesn't go.

I'm just thankful it wasn't Stones who scored that own goal - he'd have been slaughtered from pillar to post .

There still doesn't seem to be enough for the misplaced optimism for this side. Would think quarters at best

He wasn't good enough in his prime, and he definitely isn't now.

I've nothing against him, and I agree that he's a decent finisher, but he doesn't get in ahead of the other options.

Well that was Dier

You must know nothing about football if you think that the Slovakians are underrated

Ross Barkley has turned to shit quickly.

Barkley has been woeful since he came on. And I like Barkley.

Why let that get in the way of an excuse to bash England?

I get the feeling Barkley is drained from the season and he's just not got much left. I don't see him contributing much at all to the cause this summer.

Roy ruined him. Ever since he came out in the press a year ago and said he gave the ball away too much, Ross has been half the player and nowhere near as exciting. He probably gives the ball away more now as well lol

So what's the thinking of bringing on a sub keeper with 3 minutes to go ?

Seems like giving a cap away cheap to me .
