Really?

I could've sworn the spans were much shorter and more frequent.

Well, in that case, it's good to see them back in the PL after such a long absence.

Because Hull didn't sell out their allocation.

Yet next season, no doubt they'll be telling us how they all "support their local team" and that the big teams' support is "f*****g s**t".

Hull is a rugby league town. Not really that surprising.

They've managed it before.

I do support my childhood local Hull team. They're called Hull Kingston Rovers.

There has been massive discontent with the club's owners in recent years, coming to a head recently over a new Season Pass/Membership Scheme that basically abolishes Child/OAP Concessions, combined with a Complicated System for Buying tickets for the final which ment that thousands of casual fans simply gave up trying to buy tickets for the final.

Congratulations to all involved at Hull, purely for the Bruce factor I was hoping that they would win.

Terrific support for Sheffield Wednesday today. I hope this wasn't a day they look back on with regret for not turning up.

With two 'established' PL teams in Villa and Newcastle plus Norwich coming down it's going to be interesting in the Championship next season. The three play off losers plus Ipswich, Cardiff, Forest, Leeds, Blackburn, Birmingham, Fulham, QPR.

It could be harder than ever to come up.

Interesting comments from Steve Bruce that he wants re-assurances about what will happen next season or he's off

Wonder if he's thinking of jumping before he's pushed ?

So it looks like Aubameyang is leaving Dortmund. Gabon coach has said that he Aubameyang has asked not to be picked as he is in the process of changing clubs.

Gotta be be Madrid, PSG or Utd I reckon.

I saw something the other day, where Lewandowski's agent was supposedly claiming that he'd been talking to Real Madrid. And if United do sign Ibrahimovic, then PSG might be favourites.

I doubt he would leave a team in the champions league for one that isn't

Why not?

Money talks.

Not sure Madrid is an option. Lewandowski's agent has confirmed they have spoken to Madrid so that could happen.

Di Maria left after winning Man of the Match in a Champions League final win for a team who had no Champions League football the following season, so you never know with these things.

He absolutely would if that team were a giant of the game undergoing an overhaul.

I dont see either Chesea or Man Utd struggling to attract players because of no CL football.

I'd have thought a few teams would be in for Forestieri soon ...

England 2-0 up at half-time against France in the Final of the Toulon tournament.

Goals from Lewis Baker and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

If England are victorious it would be their first win in this tournament for 22 years.

There's live footie on BT Sport at the moment..........final of the Toulon U21 Tournament

half time........England lead France 2-0

England have taken a strong team, basically a first team minus players in the full England squad, for this tournament after a few times of sending reserve teams and not taking it seriously. They haven't won it since 1994

England youth look pretty good.........they score a lot of goals and have won all their games

some of the players ...... Loftus-Cheek, Ward-Prowse, Chambers, Iorfa, Redmond, Watmore, Chalobah......I think all those have played Premier League

one of the best players is relatively unknown (to me !).......Lewis Baker from Chelsea who looks excellent

second half just kicked off
