Anderton hitting the post as well

We've got Kane playing on the right, Vardy on the left and Rooney central. We've also got Kane taking corners and wide free kicks.

Even by Hodgson standards, this is absolutely baffling.

Having not watched him regularly for a few years, I'd forgotten how much of an utter cock Ricardo Carvalho is.

Wilshere and Sterling on now , things should get easer with 13 players

We look worse with the extra man.

Time for Sterling and Wilshere to prove themselves.

Wouldn't have mattered. Gazza said he held back because he thought the keeper was going to get a touch.

They all need 3 weeks in China and the use of a dentist chair , get a bit of oomph in the team

He should console himself with the fact that he looks like he's barely aged since then.

If Ronaldo had been playing we'd be losing now. Even bearing in mind players don't want to pick up injuries this is awful. The German victory seems like a long time ago.

Alli has to be our 10 if we play this formation. Also Vardy is completely wasted in this formation. We play in the complete opposite way to Leicester.

Balance of the team is all wrong. Can't believe Woy hasn't fixed his best XI yet.

I remember that game, Owen Hargreaves was immense.

Everything moves much slower with Rooney in the side

Part of that is down to players suddenly finding form and losing form, though. I can understand the personnel changes but the shape is awful.

And why is Kane taking free kicks from that far out?!

Why are we letting Kane waste all our set pieces?

He can't decide if he wants to play up front or as a No 10.

Let's see what happens without him in the last 12 mins.
