I can already feel the dread from Saints fans...
Could be worse, they could get Moyes.

Looks like koeman has agreed terms with Everton.
Looks done and dusted now.
Must say If a club like Everton had £7m a year to spend on a manager.........would Koeman be first choice ?

He probably thinks he has taken Southampton as far as he can and he sees Everton as nice opportunity to be successful and work with better players
He's already got better players at Southampton than there are at Everton. Southampton have European football this season, Everton don't. It's all about the money (his, not that available to spend on players).

It must be sickening for Southampton fans to lose another talented manager, this time to a team that finished well below them in the league. Not to mention all the quality players that have left in recent years. Not to mention their academy being raided for talent.

How have Southampton got better players when we have heard that they might lose Wanyama, Pelle and Shane Long this summer

Wonder how many of them will end up at Everton if Koeman gets the job, personally would like to have Mane.

Wanyama will defo end up at Spurs.

Didn't Saints put a £40m price tag on Mane? That's nearly half the £100m Everton budget.

How on earth is Andres Villas-Boas a 3/1 favourite to be the next Southampton manager?
I thought he said his time in the PL was a disaster and he would never come back.

If you eat the Jaffa Cakes you have no one to blame but yourself.

Mane is not a £40m player regardless of what price tag is put on him. Maybe half that would force action.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Villas-Boas back in the PL,he seems the kind of driven guy who will want to prove a point.

True, but who said I was the one that would eat them? I may be powerless to stop the force that is Mrs Sloth. She has a bigger appetite than me and has a rich history of eating them. I'll just have to get another packet and so the cycle continues...

Jaffa Cakes are like Fight Club. You don't talk about Jaffa Cakes.

But if you already have a packet of Jaffa Cakes, why would you ever have to buy another? I just can't see it happening.

It is if they don't sell Lukaku & Stones, if they do then add that figure to the £100 million.

I can very easily see Unai "Dick" Emery getting the Southampton job. He's supposed to want to manage in the PL, and I think speaks decent English.

AVB is a walking disaster. Southampton would be mad to take him over Dick.

Since you posted this, I've eaten 9 Jaffa Cakes.

Is there a Jaffa Cakes version of Alcoholics Anonymous?

Things have moved on at a rapid pace... I no longer am in possession of any Jaffa Cakes - well, externally at least. And so we complete the analogy and Koeman is bound to disappear and end up at Everton.

Haven't lost them yet. So as things stand he's moving to a less talented team.

I am slightly surprised Leicester have not signed 3 year deals with Vardy and Mahrez.
I thought that the masive increase in Premier money woud make things simple.

Surely the infamous King Power Duty Free monopoly can't have a cash flow problem.
Or is it a simple case of taking the money out while you are ahead?

Vardy only signed a new deal a few months ago but Ranieri has said if players dont want to stay they can leave, rather a foolish thing in my mind, what's the point of contracts if they just let them go when they can get a better deal.

Every player that gets sold is under contract. A contract guarantees Leicester make a tremendous profit on a player signed for one mil

I think they would rather have the player than the money, if they get relegated they will be worse off financially.

I wonder if Hull regret selling Shane Long for a quick buck then getting relegated.
