Moyes is nailed on for Sunderland.
He might have a late call from Hull though!

Why bring club loyalty into it, Martial playing for us, is not the reason why I think he is a better player than Gignac, it has to do with what I have seen with my eyes, the kit doesn't come into things.
Yeah it is, and yeah it does.

Nice of you to think that you know me better than I know myself and my reasons.

Perhaps not, but I do think that I know myself and my reasons for liking player A more than player B, then someone else.

I have no doubt you believe that.

But to be fair even though you are not open enough to admit it you are by far the most biased poster on the whole of DS, You have to forgive other for not taking you seriously at all given your history.

This may have already been discussed but Klopp has previously mentioned that his team is overinflated and that's bizarrely the reason they let Skrtel go. However he has since bought into two midfielders which is arguably the part of the squad that is overinflated. What do you all think?

While I rate Mane and I think Gini has potential (even though like Sissoko, he only turned up for about 10-15% of the season) is the attacking midfield really an area they need to invest in?

I can at times be a wee bit biased, as can everyone I suppose, but I can separate that when needs be, and look at things with a non-biased approach.

I do, but then I've got the luxury of not spending years contradicting myself.

A lot of attacking midfielders. Not sure whey they all fit in.

I can't see how Markovic can stay and I wouldn't be surprised if a decent bid came in for Coutinho, they'd accept it.

I don't know if Klopp really knows what his best team is yet. Coutinho and Firmino are both very popular on Kop but I wonder if one has fallen out of favour with Klopp because maybe they don't fit in with his philosophy?

So you know yourself, but apparently I do not know myself, right okay, that makes a lot of sense.

Again, evidence trumps someone just saying something is or isn't true.

Agreed. Wonderful player.

As for Hull, couldn't give a rat's arse who takes that job. The slightly more interesting aspect of this is Bruce going so near to the start of the season. Is it to Sunderland?
I could see him ending up there, or at least he'll want to.

For Sunderland's sake they should do what they can to sign Moyes. It's a new season, they don't need to be in a relegation battle from the start. Allardyce would've brought them some much-needed stability, and Moyes can do that and possibly better.

Moyes is definitely the safest pair of hands. Everton were struggling when he took the reigns all those years ago and he was arguably responsible for them securing a top half finish for as many years as they did.

Bruce would take Sunderland down.

I wonder who Hull will go for, and if they have contacted Moyes, as he could be a person in demand, which would be a bit different from a few weeks ago!

Where do you think he will go

Here is a suggestion. If Michael O Neill leaves the Northern Ireland job

Steve Bruce could take over, as he is interested in having a job in international football

I thought that O'Neil had just recently signed a new deal, or was it the other Irish O'Neil?

I think Moyes would keep up whichever team appointed him as manager, despite being out of his depth with us, he is still a very capable manager.

Moyes would turn Sunderland into a very solid midtable team.

So Moyes it is:-

Take a look at @SunderlandAFC's Tweet: https://twitter.com/SunderlandAFC/st...405765632?s=09

It would be nice if he could do his old club a favour on the opening game week of the season, by winning their first game of the season.
