BT really need to ditch those awful video boxes showing managers standing doing nothing on the touchline.

i dont care, comment is allowed on a discussion forum i believe.

However, you dont often see that many empty seats at arsenal, liverpool, spurs, united etc....

Cant be good for brand recognition either

When someone exaggerates to such a degree in saying that the stadium is only two thirds full, it's pretty obvious they're just looking for a chance to have a dig.

Defoe showing that form is temporary but class is permanent. Should have been at the Euro's but not "fashionable' enough.

lol typical david moyes sub. Take off the only striker that can score you goals and put on a defender that only joined the club a couple days ago.

Ill never understand how he was giving the united job.

Forgive me for using poetic licence and not counting the actual empty seats. Forgive me also for not respecting the opinion of a football "fan" that has openly admitted they stopped supporting their own club

Moyes is so negative, he is impossible to like as your manager. Playing for a draw with ten minutes left when the game is there to be won.

City are dire today, the crowd is half dead and the atmosphere is like a funeral. Welcome to Manchester and those great fans, Pep.

Do you think he will stay in England or go abroad to try and find first team football?

Everton have been linked, but do they really need his services?
Haven't they already replaced Howard?
No...still after a keeper, Stekelenburg only brought in as a back up, and Robles will not be seen as a first choice either.

Well that goes without saying!

I'd almost rather he was given England job so I wouldn't have to hear him. And because it would been funny.

I was right the first time, there wasn't loads, just the usual in the family stand. Maybe you were looking just after half time when the piss heads don't come back till 55.

Thank fck for McNair, serves Moyes right.

Truly don't understand why he keeps getting these gigs. Owen is poor, but at least what he says is vaguely relevant. Hoddle just spouts shite, consistently.

But it's funny that now City have joined the big boys there's still a lot of empty seats.

Considering the number of them that claim they have the largest number of fans in Manchester and all ours don't come from Manchester (which is absolute bollocks ) it's amusing that they don't appear to fill the ground.

I think they ended up with one of their champions league games going on general sale last season, I think it was against a big name as well.

Love Man City going back to that old badge. Is it for a particular reason or just a permanent change?

Maybe people just don't want to pay the ridiculous cost of going to watch a game of football.

City just do not have a lot of fans.

This forum, a cross section of society, also reflects that. Its full of United and liverpool fans, chelsea fans, spurs, newcastle, arsenal, Villa. And lots of other clubs, but i cannot remember the last time i even found the city thread.

I think it's just rival fans who dare I say it can be envious and jealous at times looking for something to take the piss out of, obviously with you it was the 30 odd years without a trophy and the banner that you had to take down, then it was the 'our players make history, yours money' banner that was created which has come down after realising the irony now. So it's just left to empty seats to have a go at.

Now I don't really want to get into a comparing game but it's been proven by the GMP that United aswell as City I may add have thousands of empty seats at times. All teams report attendances as tickets sold which is why they're sold out but in reality there's always people who don't turn up.
