Your club were expected to beat Bournemouth the other day, I suppose that meant little too?

Chelsea and City's investment brought more competition to the PL which was being dominated by Man United and to a lesser extent Arsenal. The PSG situation in France is admittedly unfortunate, as they have no serious competition.”

Yep. It doesn't surprise me that the poster you're responding to thinks football should be a closed shop though. Being a Celtic fan he'd know all about that. Must be incredibly dull for fans of other Scottish teams watching them win the league year after year.

Isn't your club's largest shareholder a billionaire? What a shame for you that he doesn't seem so keen to invest much of his money in them. No wonder you're jealous of other clubs.

What a night for Aguero. Miss 2 pens and scores a hat-trick.

I only saw the first half but again Sterling looked much improved.

Yeah, he definitely seems to have started the season well. Reckon Guardiola will get the best out of him unfortunately.

Fingers crossed, we need a player that can beat people with the ball in the England team.

Duffy has scored two own goals in six minutes for Cardiff against his struggling Blackburn side. Poor guy.

A game to forget for Shane Duffy of Blackburn two own goals & a sending off against Cardiff who won 2-1 . That's his third OG this season .

His management stock has fallen massively in the last couple of years... Looked like one to watch a few seasons ago.

That's probably very true but if Leicester have managed to get him to sign a new contract with no release clause then credit to them. Everyone is rightly suspicious because really why would he sign it without an escape route, I wonder if perhaps its not a fixed fee release clause but just some form of agreement that they would entertain bids if they don't achieve certain things this season.

I just cant imagine him being happy if the finish 12th.

I always found him incredibly annoying when being interviewed. He always said "the football club" when talking about any issue with his team. "The football club must improve" or "We are working hard at the football club to turn things round" That's enough to get him fired in my book.

I know quite a few Wigan fans who were very disappointed when he was appointed a few years back.

Going to MLS with Houston did not work out your well for him there, he was terrible there.

I can't see him getting another job in the Premier League any time soon.

I think a lot depends on this season, if Leicester have a really poor season, and say finish lower mid table, and out of the European places, then he might well be off, however, if they pull off yet another surprise season, and finish say top four again, then I can see him staying there for a bit longer.

Big season all round I think for Leicester.

So we have the first of 10 Friday night live Premier League matches tonight on Sky .. Man Utd v Southampton kick off 8PM . Will be interesting to see if it takes off , I have my doubts. Not much fun for away fans Friday night travel . Two more Friday night games have been announced Chelsea vs Liverpool & Everton vs Palace , two more long trips for away fans to satisfy the pay masters of TV .

Friday night is a lot better than Monday night, at least most supporters won't have to go into work the next morning or take a day off work. I think Sky will get a bigger audience also, due to the increased number of people watching in pubs and clubs.
Live Friday night games were shown back in the eighties.
