The green carpet is deceiving it looks raised although it's not , giving the playing field a small look

Athletics is scheduled at the OS next year. Preserving the track was one reason why west ham got the stadium.

Weird to see West Ham in this stadium but may as well watch to see where my money went.

Töre has assumed the role of Januzaj from earlier in this game.

Nearly two rounds of premier games in but apart from the Arsenal v Liverpool game most of the games have pretty defensive affairs .

Maybe this is a follow on from the defensive euros and teams think the portugese type of tactics will pay dividends

Sunderland game earlier was a pretty decent watch.

This West Ham game is absolutely dire.

£42 million to convert the commonwealth stadium

£272 million to convert the olympic stadium.

So a promise to the IOC that the running track be preserved has, for now, been fulfilled. Can west ham do any more to the stadium in the future?

What happens if a summer athletics event planned clashes with say a Europa qualifier for them next season

West Ham are as tedious as the Big Sam days, at least in this game.

Have you seen the Bird's Nest or any of the other Olympic stadiums that are now lying idle?

It's no worse than the COM stadium, can't say I'm happy about paying for that either but rather that than it ending up as a haven for flytippers!

id rather knock the thing down and sell the land, than put 272million IN on top of our previous investment and then give it away.

Brady, gold and sullivan are laughing at us.

Would you have the same opinion if this was a London club playing in the Championship rather than one who could take points off Chelsea or be a rival?

What would happen should london put in a future bid for the olympics. Would west hams home be used as the stadium is already built and would they have any say in the matter

The place looks decent for a day out - Wembley style - but I wouldn't like to put up with that stadium every week.

Not the same. Berahino would be sold for a reasonable price if they could get a replacement

Drop in pitch in the centre. Great idea.

It sure does. Do West Ham get to keep the money from the Upton Park site

Surprising number of empty seats in the Premirrship yesterday.
Burnley not selling out against Liverpool or Watford for Chelsea. Thousands of empty seats for WBA v Everton.
Is the EPL bubble about to burst?
