Partly because it makes it obvious every day that the matches are on that they were unable to find a sponsor which you'd think they wouldn't want to shout about

And if you're going to call it the EFL Cup why not just call it 'The League Cup' which 99% of fans probably do anyway !

........and I'm not even keen on the monikers EFL and EPL........we're in England. if we talk about 'the' Premier League it's obvious which league we're talking about. Surely you should only add a national adjective if you're talking about a foreign league”

It sounds like really cringey forced branding to me. The sort of acronym used by people who get all their football knowledge from FIFA games.

Someone said Spurs were likely to go on and win during the game. Its only a prediction. Its a bit shitty after the games finished to go after them.

Got to give Hull credit. Defending brilliantly against a onslaught

Don't think there's been 1 goalless game in the top 5 divisions today in england. Don't get that very often

Chelsea at the top, Man Utd winning in injury time - normal service is resuming.

Still got City tomorrow, presumably they will win their game, so going into the derby someone's 100% start will have to go (hopefully theirs).

Doesn't seem like a neutral point of view

Yeah because you always post stuff as a neutral don't you?

They said the same thing about him at the start of last season and he went on to win the golden boot. His engine just takes a bit longer to warm up that is all.

Manchester or Chelsea for the title then.

Way too early. United and Chelsea have had a very gentle start fixture-wise with City's not much more taxing. From just watching them all play, City look the most slick and are playing at a higher tempo. I'll reserve my judgement until Christmas I think.

The derby after the international break should give us a few clues and ideas as to what to expect from both clubs in high profile matches, it will be very interesting to see how both clubs approach it.

I think both would happily take a draw.

Depends on how City do tomorrow, but if they win as I expect them to, then I think a draw might be more of an acceptable result for them then for us.

I suspect Jose will try and starve City of possession by staying in shape and keeping the ball and look to exploit them at set pieces. I'd prefer an early City goal to open the game up to be honest.

Obviously I wouldn't, but I can see where you are coming from in your thinking.
A big match for the midfield, the match will be won amd lost there (if there is to be a winner), so this will be a time for Pogba to start repaying some of that very costly transfer fee.
