Very few players are in 'the same category' as Aguero. It doesn't stop City being dangerous in other ways.
Oh, and it's Iheanacho. C&P is your friend. Thanks for the spell check, as he is just one player I always seem to have a problem with! Ahh to go back to a time when it was just Smith and Jones for surnames!

As usual, rival fans will always spend much more time analysing such incidents in the prosecutor stance than similar incidents involving their own players (who they'll mostly defend or stay strategically quiet about). That's just par for tie course being a football fan.
Fact remains, he's guilty and has been rightly charged. |

As this transfer window shows, with jobbing players going for £10m+..As clubs get more money, they behave differently and value things differently to those with less money
A similar thing happens to the players who earn the crazy amounts of money... They do not miss a few grand a week or have the same appreciation of value or live the same lifestyle as the rest of us. They have money to throw around... They could adapt and live on their (say) £5m in the bank if they didn't earn anything else for the rest of their lives.... Soz... It's a comparison that can be picked apart but I wanted to bring up the point again! |

Yep and you can't compare their pay cuts to that of Joe Bloggs.

I'm lost as to what you are actually saying. It seems to be footballers earn lots of money and wouldn't miss a few grand less, if you think its a crap and redundant point why repeat it?

I don't think it's a crap point, i just thought I'd bring it up again as something that was being discussed the other day and has been in the past... I admitted that the angle I used to shoehorn it in was not necessarily directly correlated

Did anyone see Joe Hart trying to smile today, when he was paraded in front of the Torino fans
You can tell he does not want to be there, but he had no choice |

It is like they did not want to leave their clubs ![]() Joe Hart was the one looked so unhappy trying to smile in front of the media and fans when really he was hating being there What was with the Samir Nasri smile, and him bring so happy to join Sevilla And Jack Wilshere looked like he was thinking. Joe Hart needs to look on the bright side...he'll be living in Turin. Which is much lovelier than Manchester.
Same goes to Ballotelli at Nice. Football may not be as competitive, but a lovely city. |

pretty sure they were saying on the transfer show that most people over there were searching for 'who is joe hart' and 'what position does he play in' top trends

Man City are appealing against Aguero's charge. According to some people on twitter they are trying to argue that the referee saw it and chose not to act so Aguero can't be punished. Almost no chance it's successful if that is the defence, for it to work I think the FA would have to entertain the idea that the referee lied in his report, can't see them doing that.

missed all but 5 mins of the first half of the belgium - spain game.
Commentators just said "belgium look all over the place defensively", who would have thought that from a martinez team then? |

This has to count as a frivolous appeal and an additional game ban added on if it fails. Some might say for what they are suggesting adding just another game on wouldn't be enough.
