I believe i heard someone say today Leicester are playing first, before Spurs, in 4/5 of the next games (including this one) . That puts even more pressure on Spurs each game.
Spurs play first of the two in the next matchweek but Leicester play first in the next three because they're scheduled in the early Sunday afternoon slot and Spurs either play late on Sunday or on Monday night. Quote:
The odds on Leicester must be shortening considerably.
15/8 on, according to Jeff Stelling.

We can all point to how the usual suspects have been disappointing in one or more ways, but Leicester have exuded a calm confidence in their ability from the start of the season. They are up there on merit, not simply by default.
That is some run they are on. Spurs finishing a worthy 2nd is ok by me.

....And not forgetting their run of form from near certain relegation last season.
That is some run they are on. P40 W26 D10 L4 F73 A38 Pts 88 I think what we're seeing with Leicester at the moment is what happens when momentum feeds the belief of a squad of players at a football club. They got a large injection of it when they stayed up despite everyone forecasting the contrary, they got some more when Jamie Vardy went on his record consecutive scoring streak last year, and they're continuing to get it by successfully clearing every obstacle people forecast them to stumble on - the run of games between Christmas and New Year, the sequence of matches against Spurs, Man City and Arsenal, and the title clinching games they're playing now. |

Think Leicester will win the title with three games to spare. They may even just need a point going to Old Trafford.
I still think Clough's achievement at Forest takes some beating (especially as they went on to win the European Cup), but Leicester have done brilliantly. Mahrez and Vardy would be ill-advised to move when at the very least Leicester will be playing CL footie. |

I think what we should do (i'm a Villa fan) is knock this season on the head and just give everyone left to play 3 points
I'm watching us come out of the tunnel and i'm thinking what a waste of time for the players to have to get changed

Oh don't get me wrong, what Clough achieved was extremely unbelievable, and a massive testament to him, but that was done in an era, where such things were at least feasible (winning the league more so than the European Cup), Leicester winning this league title, in an era of the "super clubs", all backed by billionaires, is quite something, as they really shouldn't be up there at all, but somehow they are, and they fully deserve to be, and would be very worthy winners.

They still keep mentioning their so called "tough" finish .
Man United are inconsistent and are pretty poor Everton are pretty poor and the table doesn't lie Chelsea will have long switched off before the end as they are unlikely to even qualify for the Europa league |

They haven't won a PL game since 19th December. Shocking form.

A top 3 finish would be perfect for me. The title would be a wonderful bonus, but i've said for months i'd be happy with top 3 and i still would be.

Absolutely, I thought he was the obvious man for the job, been there and got the T-shirt hasn't he. Is there any truth to the rumour I was told last week that Pearson was heading for Coventry?
That would be a huge step down, and a bit of a waste of his talents, with all due respect to them. |

Not really. He'd be going back to where he started with Leicester when bringing them up. He knows how to win promotion, and might prefer that to the Newcastle job, although if they get relegated he might well go to them instead.

The fact he's borderline nuts is probably counting against him.

I think Pearson will end up at Derby or Forest in the summer. Or maybe Middlesbrough if Karanka walks.
