I did wonder if Bravo would make a mistake sooner or later with his style of play.

awful keeping from Bravo.

expect him to be severely tested now , loads of high balls to ibra and fellaini in the 2nd half!

the united corwd are all over the city keeper now, giving him pelters. The nerves will be tested in every game, not just this one, from now on.

Wow. Brutal performance from City.
They still have Sane, Aguero, Gundogan to come in........god only knows how good they'll be.

City's squad was the best in the league last season and it's the same this season. More balance, more creativity than United. They've now added a top manager and sure, tougher tests will come, but they will go far.

Let's not forget that City's record isn't too shabby at OT.

EDIT: Spoke too soon!

Bravo looks all over the place now. One mistake opened up a game that looked finished.

Going to the script so far - Jose's default tactics were always going to be to sit and frustrate and them pounce but an early City goal was always going to cause United a problem given City's possession game and the lack of mobility of some of United's players. The one moment Zlatan has in the game he scores. If City don't panic, they should still win this to be honest unless United change things in the second half.

Bravo is the most ironic name in football right now

All in all, a fun watch so far - plenty going on.

Hmmmm Pep makes a huge statement sending Hart out on loan and buying a 34 year old keeper , and yet its his new keeper who has got United back into the game and almost gifted them a second

Its 1.18 on saturday 10th September, 45 minutes into his debut

I'm calling it, Bravo will not make it in this league. Depending on how the 2nd half goes, it may finish him completely!

Pep may have time to play the ball around the back 4 in spain, but they are going to get pressed in every game from now on. And the keeper is going to find himself going up against the strongest defenders and forwards at every free kick and corner.

Ibra, Lukaku, Costa, Benteke, even Carroll are going to help themself.

Is Bravo aware Zlatan plays for the other team, he keeps giving him assists.

Nothing like prematurely writing off someone's whole career. I can imagine you saying the same thing about De Gea a few years ago.

I reckon he'll end up being fine.

Maybe he really liked the gift Zlatan sent him the other day so wants to repay the favour.

Bravo having the sort of debut in the Premier league that De Gea had, didn't do him to bad. Schmeichel struggled when he first arrived in England with the high balls into the box. So writing him off isn't the wisest move to do.

Saying that, a few more errors please we may need them, to snatch a point this afternoon.

The rooney cross where stones did not get our of the way, keeper fumbles shot his confidence to bits.

As he plays it around his box with is feet, confidence is EVERYTHING for him.

5 minutes after the goal he receives a slow back pass and he miscontrols it, letting it go past him. Awful.

They he finds himself in no mans land again, falls to Ibra whos tame shot is cleared off the line by Stones.

It is these little things that do finish people. We have just seen a pivotal moment I believe.

difficult game to make your debut

its all about the city keeper now.

United were sitting back and trying to play on the counter with s-l-o-w players in the first half. Now they are pushing forward, scrapping, fellaini elbows and putting huge pressure on John Stones and Bravo.

A big half for those two city players now
