None of uniteds signings stood out today.

The game went passed pogba, ibra was not really a threat against a terrible defence and Mkhitaryan was taken off at half time because he was rubbish.

De bruyne was the best player on the pitch by far.

Interesting de Bruyne seems to be suggesting United are a fairly physical long ball type of side.

In recent years it is a route they have gone down in a lot of the bigger games

they set up with a big team, no quick players and tried to play on the counter attack!

Then at half time they brouight on quick players, and played long ball !

Jose got that very wrong.

Mourinho went for power and physicality in his line-up. If he could start again, I think he would have started either Rashford or Martial to chase down the City defenders from the beginning.

Was a good game to watch. City really should of made that game safe far earlier.
Bravo looked very shaky at times. Could be the weakness others teams can exploit in the future. City looked very good at times though and must be favs for the title whatever Bats may think.

Out of all the lunchtime games.

The Vanarama game on BT in my eyes was the best game, 7 goals, great saves, footballs hitting the posts.

Maybe Paul Scholes does have a point

city are favourites, but my goodness, they have two weak links at the back. Bravo and stones could easily have cost them the game.

Every team should get at them as much as possible.

You must have some eyes if you can watch three matches at once with them.

Clownio Bravo is finished.

He is also very small for a PL keeper too.

It may be a reoccurring theme this season clowns then with Luiz set to appear at some point.

There are errors in Luiz yes, but Clownio Bravos debut was in another league.

He was lucky not to give away three goals, and absolutely should have been sent off.

By the end, he had no idea what to do or even what day it was.

Luckily for city, they have three weeks of easy games before they start facing some competition

Time will tell on Bravo, as mentioned earlier De Gea got a similar slating when he first came to England and he's done alright. Every PL team will have noted what happened today though.

My frustration from a United POV is that it took a mistake for us to start putting him under pressure, for the first 40 minutes he was just allowed to have the ball at his feet with no-one around him. Had we closed him down right from the start, who knows what would have happened.

Bravo isn't some clueless nobody. In the last two years he's won two La Liga's and two Copa Americas. He's an experienced goalkeeper. Give him some time to adapt to the side, the tactics and the league then we can judge whether he's useless or not.

ive just seen one of the most ridiculous thing ive seen this season.

Shane Long gets clearly caught, a really very nasty foul, his ank;le raked right infront of the lino. Nothing given. Arsenal break and go down to southamptons end, where koshenley stoops and gets a full kick to the face, he is down and out right infront of the southampton keeper.

The southampton keeper tries to bring attention of the ref to the motionless arsenal player inftont of him, arsenal play on. The ball comes into the box, there is a coming together between two players, the ref gives a pen. Its NEVER a pen.

Before it can be taken, treatment has to be given for 5 minutes to the arsenal player who is STILL flat out in the penelty area having been fully kicked to the head.

It was absolutely stupid by the officials, who have gifted arsenal three points.

I wonder what the odds were at the start of the season for Slaven Bilic to be the first manager to go.

I think quite a few away sides will enjoy playing at the London Stadium this season.
