Man Utd 1 v Man City 2
I'm not a fan of either club, but that was one of the best games of football I have seen in a long time. As predicted, Mourhino's Utd is not going to work. That's my honest opinion. The hunger has gone for the manager, there are too many over paid 'superstars' at the club, and the philosophy of playing fast, attractive, attacking football using young players is history; it has gone. The philosophy that has brought success to the club for around 70 years has now been abandoned. Mourhino will do long term damage to the club.
It's ironic that De Bruyne who was sold by Mourhino was motm. He looked very ordinary at Chelsea when mozza was manager. Luiz could do similar when Chelsea meet Man Utd. Another player who was wrongly sold by mourhino. The Pepster. What can you say? Apart from the keeper who was a liability, the football was exceptional. John Stones kept Ibrahimovic under control and that is world class. Couldn't Joe Hart have been taught how to bring the ball out from the back? My prediction for the season however is as it stands: 1. Chelsea 2. Man City 3. Arsenal Man Utd fourth at best. |

Amazing how quick things can turn.
All the players on bumper new contracts along with the manager and suddenly they look pretty ordinary. Leicester could do with a CL win on Weds. |

Nice surprise at the Olympic stadium.
4-2 win didn't look very likely after 35 minutes when West Ham totally outplayed us but we managed to get back into the game and really controlled the 2nd half. Some ropey defending/goalkeeping along the way helped. Shame to see some West Ham fans appearing to fight each other - yes they would be frustrated but still unsavoury. |

Kante was Leicester's most valuable player last season, allowing the others to play whilst doing all the donkey work. Hazard will benefit massively from Kante doing much of the defensive cover. I didn't see any Leicester players coasting today. They'll just let more goals in without Kante and therefore win fewer matches. |

Bit early but Chelsea we're.................rank first half last season (sure they we're the team to finish lowest in the table after being the champions previous season) Could Leicester be worse than Chelsea?

I'm surprised to see you on here tbh considering your quaint little double act on the Conte thread.
Another one with a short memory. |

If they were, why would they?
Maybe Kante was that good. |

No idea, it was merely a comment in jest about how they've gone from bottom of the league to winning it and now looking pretty average again.
Maybe Kante was that good. |

leicester are done, the players and manager dont look like they are playing - and the longer this happenes the worse its going to get for them.
Definitely bottom half of the table for them, but its not surprising after the most astonishing thing in PL history. |

Leicester having the kind of season that most of us thought they would have last season
I hope they are saving their best for Europe as I think that they could get out of the group stages if they play as they did last year |

That kind of luck was never going to last forever and it looks like it's beginning to run out even now. Even at this early stage it's looking like their "direct" style of play has finally been figured out as well. |

Guardiola " Claudio Bravo produced one of the best performances I've ever seen from a goalkeeper" Sticking up for you players is all well & good , but to come out with such a comment is absurd . Another ridiculous statement from Mark Warburton of Rangers " There's no gulf in class between his team & Celtic .
