leicester are done, the players and manager dont look like they are playing - and the longer this happenes the worse its going to get for them.

Definitely bottom half of the table for them, but its not surprising after the most astonishing thing in PL history.
I just think the pundits got it right on MOTD. Leicester can't play the 4-2-4/4-4-2 they did last season without Kante. They have enough quality in the squad to make themselves difficult to beat, and that has to be their priority. Trying to take the game to sides that are clearly superior (on paper at least) and they're going to get more heavy losses.
Having said that, Liverpool were superb yesterday. A lot of teams would have struggled against them on that form.

Guardiola " Claudio Bravo produced one of the best performances I've ever seen from a goalkeeper" Sticking up for you players is all well & good , but to come out with such a comment is absurd . Another ridiculous statement from Mark Warburton of Rangers " There's no gulf in class between his team & Celtic .
what a ridiculous statement to make, when everyone who watched the game could clearly see he had a complete nightmare, nearly threw in three goals and should have been sent off.

The questin isnt did bravo have a nightmare, we all agree on that. But is is rather will he ever come back from that, or is he finished?

I cannot see him being a good keeper in the PL.

you don't half talk some utter nonsense. "finished" after one ropey game...seriously?

seeing everyone quoting Pep out of context is kinda irritating, I must say. he was clearly referring to Bravo continuing to try to play the same way, even after the mistake for the goal, not that he put on a world-class display of goalkeeping. I remember Gary Neville praising Victor Valdes for the same thing on MNF after a clasico a couple of years ago, when he made a mistake after about 30 secs that led to a Benzema goal, but continued to play the same way. I don't recall anyone calling that laughable then.

but it was only La Liga I guess, and not the Super Bestest Most Exciting League In The World where standards are much higher.

Agree. And David de Gea seems to be doing more than fine after his poor Prem league start. I'd go as far as saying it was just one mistake that then led to a crisis in confidence in such a big match. Prior to dropping that cross it had become quite obvious why Pep wanted a footballing goalkeeper and Bravo definitely did his bit in contributing to the first 40mins of control and domination.

Still amuses me how people take a managers post-match comments so literally. Pep made those comments for one purpose only, to boost Bravo's confidence, and if that made Pep look stupid to others then so be it as i don't suppose Pep cares one jot.

Feared for Swansea after Costa scored but they are making a fight of this. Can only see Chelsea winning though. Kante showing just why he is making the difference to both Chelsea and Leicester this season. He breaks up play better than a referee's whistle....

Game on now. If Chelsea don't win they have only themselves to blame. Conte should bring on Batshuyi.... Oh.My.God. Second goal! I was just looking at the odds b4 the penalty and Swansea were 40/1 to win.....

Definite foul on Cahill, for the second goal. Unlucky Chelsea, but Cahill shouldn't have dithered.

Costa lucky not to get a 2nd yellow for simulation

Consistency rears it's ugly head again

This would certainly be a result that I was not expecting if it stays the same.

Chelsea will probably blame the ref and might have a point but they have thrown it away.

He has started the season well in terms of goalscoring, the race for the top scorer award is going to be mighty close this season I think.
