Definite foul on Cahill, for the second goal. Unlucky Chelsea, but Cahill shouldn't have dithered.
Agreed but definite dangerous play by Costa with his overhead kick for his second goal.

A 2 - 2 draw is probably a fair result.

Yep, no argument from me on that.

PM me next weeks lottery numbers please

Still think there's another goal in this game.....
What do I know

Second Swansea goal was a foul but Chelsea should have been out of sight before then. Naill Quinn is right, Costa is hugely talented and a real handful when he's up for it.

So just the two remaining undefeated teams now, with the rest not too far behind, should make for a few interesting weeks coming up once the games start coming thick and fast.

City look the most likely, in my opinion, to improve still further and to have the resources to cope with the 'long haul' of the season.

If you were to compare like for like in these three times, City could come out on top in most departments. I'd rather have Kevin de Bruyne in my team than, say Eden Hazard. I'd be more confident of getting goals AND keeping Sergio Aguero on the pitch rather than Harry Kane (more likely get injured falling flat on his face) or Diego Costa (more likely to see the red mist followed by the red card).

Man for man, and pound for pound, I think City have the edge in most departments. Of course, we all know that a million things can go wrong in the course of a season. If it was easily predictable it would be dull. And don't rule out United either. One defeat doesn't make them a bad team.

The wheels nearly fell off for Chelsea this afternoon. Let's see how they respond in their next match. It should be interesting.

can I just ask why it is you have more faith in Aguero staying fit than Kane?

It's early days and i certainly still see Hull struggling to get to 40 points, but even so do you think Steve Bruce inadvertently did everyone a favour by chucking it in?

With far more resource Bruce got Hull relegated with only 34 points in the Prem, just 33 goals scored and 17 matches where they failed to score at all. 4 games into this season and only one failure to score (the 1-0 loss to ManU), 5 goals scored and 7 points. I still think they'll go down, but will make a far better fist of it without Bruce.

Gary Cahill what a crybaby. If Chelsea won the game he wouldn't be moaning he only mentioned it because they dropped points.

You do realise that aguero is the player currently banned for elbowing someone in the head dont you?

But then he is "not that type of player" is he....

Yeah and it's not like he hasn't got away with something before either. He's no saint.

That's because a bad refereeing decision cost them the game, of course it wouldnt have mattered so much if they had gone on to win.

I think he acted in the right manner rather than having a temper tantrum like some do

Calling him a cry baby makes you sound like a school kid by the way

that first half from man city was just a joy to watch. made man utd look like relegation fodder.

bravo mistake and ibra class got them back into it but even 2nd half city looked better team imo. if not for timing of bravos mistake for goal we could have been looking at 3 or 4 nil.

sure jose will have utd ready to bounce back on weekedn though, i wouldnt want to be their opponents thats for sure

Watford away on Sunday (live on BT kick off at midday), we need to bounce back immediately, as we simply can't afford to allow the gap to keep on increasing.

Bravo looked v nervous and his first game. He's been outstanding for Barcelona. Give him time.
I remember Buffon dropped his first cross for Juve after signing for 50m and it was a simple tap in for the opponent. He went on to be quite good

It was me!

He looked awful, absolutely awful - even worse than calamity Joe, currently throwing them in for his new club.

De Gea didn't get off to the best of starts with us, yet is no regarded as by far the best keeper in the Premier League, and possibly the joint best in the world with Neuer (with Oblak not too far behind the), so having a poor opening few games is no sign that a player will not be able to hack it over here.

So you utterly ignore over 70 appearances for one of the best teams in the world and call him a "dud" based on 1 appearance against one of the best teams in the league

Tbf De Gea wasn't replacing one of our established and well liked players when he arrived.

His mistakes were pounced on by the press for entirely different reasons.
