Mark Hughes has been charged with misconduct

Wonder how long it is before he is handed his P45.

Impressed with the work Rafa is doing with Newcastle. Bit of a wobbly start, but he's certainly got them firing at the moment.

Yeah it was a poor start but it's been very good from the third game onwards and now we are 6-0 up in this match against QPR.

It finished 6-0.

However our goal difference is now +12 (after this result) and 1 point of the top of the league in second place.

Everton will end up around 8th imo.
They won't win the title but they'll get better than 8th. Koeman is a very good manager with a better team than he had at Southampton. Martinez totally under-performed with that team IMO.

He did but I still think they'll finish around there.

I can see Everton qualifying for the Europa league and doing well in one of the cups

I'd be surprised if Everton finished above either of the two Manchester clubs, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs or Liverpool. Maybe surprised is too strong a word as they could well pip one or two of them, but if I had to call it now I'd predict all of those teams to finish ahead of them. That would put them 7th at best if I end up correct, likely competing with West Ham and Leicester, maybe one or two others.

This is why I'm really excited about this season. A big team is going to be left wanting big team in terms of expectation.

There's only one title spot available and 3 other top 4 places.

Leicester - Defending Champions and shouldn't be underestimated.

Man Untied. - Top manager in Mourinho. Fear factor arguably back at the club.

Man City - Top manager in Guardiola. Up there in the race for their third premier league title.

Chelsea - Top team. No Europe this year so will put all their efforts into getting back into the top 4. Minimum.

Arsenal -,Their annual race for the top 4

Tottenham - will only improve from last year. Exciting team . Looking forward to seeing how they progress.c

Liverpooll - Fantsstic attack. Great history but can they shore up at the back to sustain a title bid?

Everton -,very impressive team with a top manager in Koeman.

All these teams have a big chance to do great things this season,

Most of the top sides have started really well this time and if these good starts continue its easy to believe we will see a return to the more likely sides fighting it out.

As far as Everton are concerned they need to combine the likely improvement with some of the same underachievement as last season from top sides and if that scenario a top six finish isn't unrealistic. They could finish anywhere between third and ninth, frankly.

There's a growing feeling that if Bolasie and Gueye stay fit they could be what Kante and Mahrez were for Leicester. Ashley Williams appears completely dominant these days too, a fantastic signing who could leave one or two others wishing they'd took a 12m punt on him.

Does anyone know what happened in the Europa league game AZ Alkmaar vs Dundalk?

Dundalk goalkeeper went for an aerial challenge which he ran out and attempted to punch the ball, he missed ended up punching the players head (who got their first and scored), but the player was knocked out cold.

He was left lying on the ground, his teammates were frantically waving for help (which took ages, the crowd were beginning to boo in frustration).

Some of the players started crying, the manager then started to cry, infact the one of the AZ players who was helping had his hands covered in blood.

I'd be trying to find out as much as I can about the players wellbeing after the game's finished as it looks pretty horrific. I'm not sure if he regained consciousness.

Man City - Top manager in Guardiola. Up there in the race for their third premier league title.
Or you could say their fifth league title. They were First Division Champions in 1937 and 1968.

Manchester United rattle on about having won 19 titles, but that figure includes 7 championships in the old football league.

So......... why are United always referred to as having won 19 league titles and City are only ever talked about as having won 2 Premier League titles...?

Hargreaves has to be the worst summariser on uktv , man united haven't done any of those things because Feyenoord haven't allowed them to

That's good to hear, I'd got the impression with the players reaction perhaps he had stopped breathing.
