City off and flying again which was always likely.

Early days but city and Liverpool looking the best sides.

Perhaps Everton this seasons breakthrough team

What's going on at West Brom?!?

I would have had that nailed on as the lowest scoring game this afternoon

Really clever backheel from Fletcher sets up Hooper to give Sheff Wed the lead

Surprised by how poor Birmingham are

They are terrible at home as they have just moved into a new stadium

And they are terrible away because of injuries and no defence

When they have a fully fit squad and Payet is back to his best, then you will see the team from last season

I dont think they should change the manager as where are they going to find a better manager than Slaven Bilic

Didn't see the game tonight but generally Gary Rowett has done very well at Birmingham.

Sheff W seem to be suffering a bit of a play-off hang over like we did in 2014.

As much as I hate to admit it I think City will win the league this season.

Says it all that City win 4-0 and yet in the post match interview Guardiola still wasn't happy with the pressing.

Top manager.

They are likely okng like a top side, no doubt about that, but I wouldn't go as far as crowning them as champions just yet.
I remember a few times previously when for example Chelsea looking simply amazing winning multiple games in a row at the start of a season, only for them to fade away towards the end of the season.

They are looking very good, but there is a heck of a long way to go before we can crown anyone as champions just yet.

He's not crowning them champions, just saying he thinks they'll win the league which is a valid and reasonable call.

Yeah, they look heavy favourites right now, seem to be a class above everyone else. There are a few teams who look like they can maybe challenge, annoyingly Liverpool look like they are one of them, but on the showings so far City should have enough.

Liverpool have had some very impressive away wins so far, although the Burnley one does look like a blip.

So far, both Merseyside clubs look like pushing for a top four place, the derbies between those two will be fascinating to watch.

Awful penalty given away by the full-back. Ridiculous handball, seconds after giving away the free-kick that led to the goal, with another handball.

Chelsea and city have started very well on a couple of occasions recently and people say they will run away with it.. They never do... As things stand, I think City will run away with it!

Hopefully Liverpool get top 3. Would be good to see another outsider break in to challenge for top 4 as well...

If there were to be another outsider breaking into the top four, I would prefer the other Merseyside club Everton to be that club as opposed to Liverpool.

At the moment it does look like City will win the title, Guardiola knows his team inside out, won't see him regularly having triple substitutions like Mourinho and Conte.

The chasing pack of Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd, Spurs and Liverpool even Everton could be in there because they have finally got a good manager.
