Dont know how he missed that one. In front of the middle of the goal beats the defender you should at least get it on target and make the keeper save it. Southampton's season all over loads of shots just not putting them away.

I would like to see Austin get the nod over long. No so good in the air but much better at finding the target.
You werent wrong, long time in coming

Well all 3 teams play attractive football to watch unlike moaners teams who are boring to watch, last season Chelsea, this season Man United.

Remind me when he last won a trophy.
He won the league the season before last. That's not been seen at two of those clubs for years, one for donkeys. Perhaps that's OK in your footbal eyes. Each to their own I guess.

He'll be gone by the end of the month.

He'll be at Sunderland in 4 months time. Moyes will be on Sky, again. Billic will sort things out at West Ham.

Agree with the first two but not the third; the contagion seems to have set in at West Ham.

William Bony seems devoid of confidence

Things must be bad when Palace are taking the p**s out of you

The days when Mourinho comes into clubs and wins them the League are over. He was a great manager(past tense) not anymore.

Great 1st half and we really held on under pressure with Prodl excellent.

Did wonder why Zuniga was coming on - but got my answer!

Cool penalty at the end from Troy..

Thank goodness Ighalo's miss didn't matter!

Rooney and Pogba just moaned all game!!

The horrible thing is he was finished years ago but no-one has had the balls to do the right thing and drop him.
He was brilliant and exciting at Everton and Euro 2004; Ferguson made him a multi-functional player but he was never the same. The metatarsal injury was probably the turning point.

correct.

I called it for england and received pelters in the last 2 competitions.

I told everyone that big sam had bottled it when he made rooney captain and keeps playing him, and received pelters again.

he has been finished for 2 years. He is playing on reputation.
He was half decent in the qualifiers. Granted the competition was a bit shite, but he did score some winners.

Oh yes, silly me. The way people had been talking about him you'd think he hadn't scored yet.

It would be typical Tottenham to end up drawing 1-1 but Sunderland really don't look up to much under Moyes.

Neither did Everton, Man Utd or Real Sociedad.

No one seems to be talking up Spurs for a top four and or title challenge for some reason faded in the last month season no reason why they can't go again.

A win takes them third, do think the champions league might show Spurs to be a bit out of their depth there but they might then fall into the Europa league which may prove a problem .

Sunderland are beyond awful though

I don't really think you can say too much bad about his work at Everton overall in fairness. But everything since has been a disaster.

Sunderland have been pretty bad in this half for me. Absolutely no ability to put their foot on the ball and their odd moments up the pitch have been ruined by terrible passes.

As long as they are still in touch by April they will start to get some results then.

Joking aside this may be the year they finally go down

...and ludicrously petulant.

Spurs should be out of sight in this match by now.
