Unbelievable, as was Sunderland not conceding from that corner.

Newcastle have issues. Regardless if they tighten up, goals win games and Newcastle have no goals in the side.

You are so right, I was genuinely shocked to discover only Villa have scored fewer goals this season than Newcastle.

Shocked ??? Newcastle are second bottom only to Villa and have a -27 goal difference I would have been shocked if they where not the second lowest scoring team.

Brilliant save by Elliot!

Sunderland have got a firm grip on this match now.

I don't have much faith that Jack Colback is going to complete the full 90 minutes for Newcastle.

I wonder what is going through Rafa's mind.

You are right but not in the way that you probably meant.

He has been subbed, probably to save a red card.

Not bad, I was thinking on much simpler lines like "Help! How the hell did I end up here?"

That's an embarrassing stat. I had to rewind that and listen again cause I couldn't believe it.

Saying that, the momentum is with them now!

What a goal from Pelle !!! I was really depressed after Liverpool made that quick start and gave up on the game I should have known better what a come back from the team !!!

Deary me, letting a two goal lead slip is poor.

Mitrovic was just about to let rip at Atkinson there but remembered the yellow card he's on and thought better of it

Damn my decision to watch Newcastle v Sunderland was almost as bad as Rafa's to manage Newcastle.

Liverpool are still defensively poor , they got away with it against man united.

I would fear the worst for them when they play Dortmund

Another instance here of a player who's suffered a head blow trying to stay on but being overruled by the medics.

And Mbemba nearly gifts Sunderland a last minute winner!

If he doesn't calm down someone might need to slug him.

Brilliant to watch, but Liverpool letting a two-nil lead slip like that. Awful.

I was amazed when Liverpool paid us 20 million for Dejan Lovren. He only had one decent season for us I felt he was made to look good by the very organised defence he had around him. He was never a 20 million pound player in my view and nothing he has done at Liverpool to suggest he is worth half that amount.

What on earth was the commentator talking about, "the first small steps of recovery under rafa benitez" - they have drawn a home match against one of their main rivals, and are now three points behind Norwich with a worse goal difference..

What was the player talking about "Manchester" in his interview

Sorry, I stopped l watching/listening after the final whistle, thought I had punished myself enough, especially when it looks as though the other match was a cracker.

Liverpool seem to have a particular propensity for paying way over the odds for players after they have one good season at a midtable side.
