How did the ref not give a free kick for that foul on Rose?

He was looking straight at it

Because he has already booked Sterling and that would mean a red card, and refs don't seem to want to give a second yellow card for anything this season

I see your point

It does seem to happen a lot

Quite agree. It's no wonder manager's get frustrated when there is no consistency

City losing is a ideal result. Dampens hype/ talk of a one-horse race.

I think Pep will have to have a rethink about using his keeper as a sweeper keeper in the Premier league , keepers dont get the same time on the ball in the prem as they do in La Liga or the Bundesliga

if a player is on a yellow, and they then make a yellow card tackle/ foul then they have to go.

why do refs not seem to grasp this?

Ive noticed its worse this season for some reason , there have been some blatant fouls that should be a yellow, where refs have just warned the player on a yellow , just so they don't have to send someone off

So Barcelona hammered Celtic, Rodgers didn't want the same thing to happen again so he went all out attack against Man City and it worked.

Pochettino adopted a similar tactic and success.

This match is shite. Arsenal passing the ball back and forth with no pace, no movement and nobody in the box to actually target.

Jesus, poor Burnley. They defended so hard and Arsenal were so abject going forward but that's one of those wins that were a trademark of Ferguson's United when they were winning titles.

Last kick of the game, Arsenal win with an offside handball goal. Could only be them.

It was to be fair, hope Arsenal don't win the league as i can't stand Wenger at the best of times, would be a nightmare for me if he won the league, though still think Man.City will win the league despite today's defeat.

Burnley came to stop Arsenal playing. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Their plan did work though... If the correct decision is made they go home with a point.

Burnley got what they deserved, they went to spoil the game and it backfired on them.

Clearly didn't work as they lost. These decisions happen, it's shit when you're on the wrong end but it's football.

Imo, it was no different from the handballin the box from the Burnley defender. Ref didn't give the pen for that so is right to allow the goal.
