Moyes sacked or im a dutchman.
He said he wasn't under pressure!

He is useless, stealing a living. I would imagine Sunderland and he may soon reach an agreement to end his contract early.

Looking at the West Ham goal it probably should have been ruled off side, a player in an offside position went for the ball with his foot
Those type of decisions tend to go against when you are in Sunderland's current predicament.

A point for us but it seems Swansea were the better side and should have won.

They won't be down the bottom for long I reckon.

Hull and Sunderland however......

Odds on Big Sam coming back to an almost heroes reception?

Yeah two places seem sorted in terms of relegation, with just the other to be decided.

Sunderland are in the same mindset we (Villa) were in last season, like us last season i don't see them turning it around now , they have been flirting with relegation for some time now, we were the same and it caught up with us, i'm not sure you can blame it all on Moyes as once the rot sets in there doesnt seem to be a lot a manager can do

It would certainly be interesting if it happened.

Just been watching Barcelona getting a 94th minute penalty from Messi to win 3-2, then Neymar and some other players get whacked by a bottle from the crowd.

This Liverpool game could be 4 or 5 nil , its up to Liverpool on how much they want to keep going for it , i cant see WBA getting back into it

Getting a goal, the first goal, and early on, is a big help. It stops West Brom from sitting back or playing for a draw. They either have to come out, or sit back and try not to concede anymore. Either way would suit Liverpool.

I can see more goals in the second half.

Liverpool going top I think as things stand, not my personal idea of what I would like to see, but congrats to them.

Liverpool look like they are happy to leave it with the two goals

Only two went down; surprising considering they were all in a huddle could easy have been a strike (...and I say that as a Barca man).

Liverpool held on to prevent West Brom from getting a deserved point

Don't know about you folks but I was left completely underwhelmed by today's football. And I don't think it's just bitterness over a lack of fantasy league points...

Here's to hoping for better tomorrow in "The Return". Sky games never disappoint when they give it the big billing. Ahem...

Maybe Moyes should be asking why his whole team left a free man roam from the edge if the area to have a free shot rather than blame the officials for a potential offside..

Which it wasn't....

Spurs are very lucky not be playing with 9 men.
Could the elbow be subject to retrospective action ?
The ref couldn't have seen it or he would have been off.
Lamela did not deserve to be sent-off.
First foul was definitely a yellow card. Second one was not worthy of a yellow - it wasnlt even a foul.

Sunderland have struggled the last four seasons. Not sure it is solely down to the manager....

Looking at the Sunderland starting XI, it's full of absolute dross. No surprise they're struggling.

Edit - The subs bench wasn't much better.

Not even pep could do anything with that squad. Needs a complete overhaul and would take money which they don't have so basically they're screwed.

Promoted teams come up with worse and less experienced squads and survive or at least look better then the dross Moyes is serving up. The manager has to be accountable.

How many points did that goal get you again? Pulis got what his tactics deserved. Thought Klopp's plan of not giving away set pieces was odd (I'd rather focus on defending better from them) but we got the job done.
