Conte has found his magic back 3, Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Cahill.
4 league games, 4 clean sheets. |

Impressive form by Chelsea.
The switch in formation has worked very well. No questions asked as to why Terry isn't playing which has happened in the past. |

With a striker of the calibre of Lukaku, then I am not writing them out of a top four push.

I can see Frank De Boer being sacked from Inter Milan before David Moyes is sacked from Sunderland
How about a job swap guys

They haven't got a strong enough squad in depth to maintain a top 4 finish realistically...it's not impossible just improbable even with Lukaku, but credit should also go to the team, as they are working mainly as a unit rather than one man.

Lukaku's not a bad player for someone who's regressed since his Anderlecht days, when he left at the ripe old age of 18.
![]() ![]() He is still their best striker, and someone who can and does pop up with important goals for them. Quote:

How about a job swap guys ![]() Inter just seem to be a club always chasing something, with no set plan, and things just look haphazard there, a hodgepodge of players from different coaches. |

Moyes is damaged goods now after 3 flops in a row. No top division team is going to go near him.

We saw last season how a team can be bigger than their collective parts, and so for that reason alone, I am not writing them off just yet from pushing the top teams all the way.
Touche. ![]() He is still their best striker, and someone who can and does pop up with important goals for them. I am not too sure if Inter would be happy about that, although I would think Sunderland would be fine what that arrangement. One thing I have wondered after this week:
If Moyes was to leave Sunderland do you think they would be brave enough to rehire Allardyce given his recent scandals? |

I must say, I'm finding Conte's Chelsea fascinating to watch tactically, mainly because managers playing 3-5-2 type formations in England tend to be derided by the pundits but it's something he's had great success with in the past. Maybe if Chelsea get somewhere with this set up others in the league will try their own version, just like 4-3-3 became more popular after Mourinho's first Chelsea spell.

He said the wingers should stay on the wing when the team has the ball so when the opposition move across the pitch then one side of the pitch has space for one of the wingers to exploit |

Then we went to 4-3-3 Then we went to 4-2-3-1 Now we are 3-5-2 |

I'm quite enjoying watching Chelsea too. They look like a completely different team from last season.
Someone pointed out that Chelsea are 11 points better off than after 10 league games last season, whereas Manchester United are 5 points worse off. I'm not saying that Mourinho is to blame. Actually screw it, I am saying that

well the chelsea team hasnt really changed much, and the united team has had a HUGE cash injection, and has signed the world most expensive player too!
I wonder what the difference would be like if Jose had the team that LVG left? Kante has come into the team, So has Moses and so has Alonso. That is 3 major changes (and a cost of over 50m for two of them that's ignoring the Moses fee) and plus Luiz has come into the team and those have been 4 of the key players in our recent upturn in form, To say the Chelsea team is not that different from last season is not really correct Both teams really have made similar changes to their teams |
