are you seriously comparing Pogba to the return of Victor Moses?

ibrahimovic to the signing of alonso, a sunderland reject?

bailly to the rehiring, to everyones amusement, of Luiz?
No you are are doing that due to Utd bad Chelsea good mantra

You have said Chelsea has not really changed much and Utd have but we have changed quite a few key roles.

3 changes to a starting 11 isnt really that much for a new season.
Well its 4 with Luiz,Alonso,Kante and Moses.

Its not really that many I agree but with those players coming and and the change of system I think to say Chelsea has not changed much is not really correct

I'm quite enjoying watching Chelsea too. They look like a completely different team from last season.

Someone pointed out that Chelsea are 11 points better off than after 10 league games last season, whereas Manchester United are 5 points worse off. I'm not saying that Mourinho is to blame. Actually screw it, I am saying that
United actually made a good start last season. We just completely fell apart in December. If we're 5 points behind the previous season when we're in January then I'll start to worry.

Ibrahimovic is an Arsenal reject then.

Chelsea have made some good signings and are changing their style of play but it was always going to be more important to reinvigorate the ones who were actually there but gave up the ghost last year. Hazard and Costa could get on for any team in the league so restoring them to 2014 form was surely the priority for Conte coming in.

Ibrahimovic has been a complete waste of salary as I though he would be.

United would have been better spending his wages on someone younger.

Suspect he will be off to China in the summer

Care to suggest a name?

Would this "younger" player bring all the marketing rewards signing a player like this bring into the club? Would this younger player sign a short term contract as well?

So "marketing rewards" is the basis for signing players these days ?

Of course it plays a part when you are talking about a club like Utd.

They already have one of the best young strikers on their books, What they needed was a short term option and he was one of the most logical options available, It might work out or might not just like any transfer but it was a perfectly logical move for both parties

Perhaps it's me being out of touch but I really have not heard of some of these Swansea players at all.

Who the hell is Barrow, for goodness sake?

There goes Swansea's defensive outlook.

Blimey, 1-1 after just 8 minutes.

Ask a Liverpudlian and he'll say Barrow, in fairness, is in Cumbria...

Haha

Stoke back in front, own goal from another Swansea player I've not heard of - Mawson.

Barrow played 22 league games last season (a lot as sub) and all of 'em this. He did well against Arsenal recently but his end product is almost non-existant at the moment.

Unless the law has changed that was a penalty for swansea. Lino and ref got that wrong.

Yes, that 70 minute goal drought was a concern...

Porous at the back, toothless up front.

Another season of struggle beckons for Swansea - and Bob Bradley doesn't seem to be the right man to lead them through it.

I think the law states that the location is dictated by where the foul STARTS. So Pieters had held of Routledge just outside the box, and Routledge managed to muscle his way into the box before going down. So if I'm correct, then the free kick was the right call.

But if it doesn't work out and he's dumped on the bench like Rooney, he will disrupt the whole club because he's a narcissistic with an extreme ego problem.

For a holding offence it's where it ends, as I say unless it has changed recently.

A cording to the after match analysis it was a penalty.

I watched their games at the start of the season and I thought they were unlucky. They were playing good football against the likes of City and Liverpool but just got unlucky by conceding some penalties. If they'd stuck with their manager I think they'd have turned it round eventually.
