The Watford v Leicester game is like watching a championship match, the quality of both sides is so poor, they need to get back to basics and learn how to pass the ball.
The Leicester players who got new contracts certainly dont deserve the big wages they are now earning |

I just think you are talking nonsense to be honest, i think there are stupid rules a yellow card is given when a goal is yellow that sanitises the game for no reason imo
Hurst, Greaves, Lineker, Rush, Shearer scored a thousand goals, vital ones that won trophies. Not only do I not agree with the passion or emotion argument. I'd go further to say a lot of the time is can be a lack of passion. Emotion is quite evidently Tardelli, Falcao or Socrates running away, veins pumping, colour drained from their face. I'd add Alan Sunderland to that too! Some of these shirt removals now seem more like a player desperate to show off his abs for the cameras more than emotion. Whether it deserves a yellow card or not, I don't know. They don't seem to be connected to me, but it can be irritating. |

I didnt think of that , thats probably the reason , i still think a yellow is harsh
I thought it was because of the whole take your shirt off and have a message written underneath, i know they don't allow that anymore , so i thought they might have just had the yellow rule to stop people removing their shirts and being tempted to have a message |

Certainly wasn't a great 2nd half - we defended well.
Scored 2 very good goals early on though.. |

Not the greatest weekend so far of premier league games I suppose spurs at the moment missing the chance to open a gap behind them.
This is turn might mean the current top 4 may open a gap behind them |

Indeed bit a gap from top 5 to rest now
![]() It is very hard to pick a side who I think will miss out on the top four, as these sides are all fairly even. |

Leicester continuing to struggle this season, it is one almighty come down, that is for sure.
Leeds didn't win in the league away from home in the whole season. Leicester are also having big problems away from home. Leeds finished in the bottom half that season. They also had two strong centre-backs that were really good in the air, but slow and with limited ability on the ball, in Chris Whyte and Chris Fairclough. They struggled badly in 1992/93. Wes Morgan and Robert Huth are certainly two similar types who haven;t started the season particularly well. |

The stoke player should have been booked for that pathetic dive.
It may have been a penalty, but he should have been booked for ungentlemanly conduct regardless. |

Nice to see that Rob Green hasn't lost his capacity to provide a good laugh every now and then.

In the three games Burnley have received plaudits for this season (Liverpool, Everton and Man Utd) they have conceded 88 shots to the opposition. That's not a long term recipe for success.

Good sense of perspective on the Rooney situation provided by Carragher and Coleman just now on MNF.
