Much improvement performance from man united last night.

Wouldn't they be better saving his wages for a young quality signing up front
Hopefully we can add one in the summer.

With Ibra seemingly staying around for another season, it will be interesting to see what sort of striker (if we do sign another one) we go after.
Pogba and Griezemann seem to have a great relationship, so it would be nice if he could be brought in, quite how that would work with Ibra still here I don't know.

Hopefully something can be worked out, and we do bring in an extra striker, as next season, we sure could do with another one (or two if Rooney departs).

BiB - why would that be a problem ?

Griezmann plays mostly as a left sided AM just off the main striker at Athletico

I was mainly just trying to figure that out, hopefully it would, and that you would be right, although that would of course hinder Martial, but then again, added competition might bring out the best in him.

Either way, I hope that we can work something out next summer.

I'd be intrigued to see what 'support for straight people' would involve. It's along the same lines as the angry nerds who sincerely call themselves 'meninists' and the people who whine about there being no MOWO awards.
It's the type of person who mocks "SJWs" (Social Justice Warriors). Not the easily offended people or people who play the discrimination card, but simply people who don't appreciate prejudice. It will be the same person who asks "but what about white people?", and is probably a "nice guy".

Yeah it's all well and good scoring 8, but you can't be conceding 4. Did neither team have a goalkeeper?
Ridiculous post. They won by 4 clear goals. Same as a 4-0 win, in effect!

You make it seem as if it is fairly common to score 8 goals in 90 minutes of professional football.

I notice that the thread started about abuse has been closed by DS

This is going to be a huge story

Top football clubs made secret payments to buy the silence of young players sexually abused by coaches, The Telegraph can disclose, as the growing scandal threatened to engulf the sport.

A well-placed source said a number of clubs, including at least one Premier League team, had paid compensation to footballers but only after victims had signed confidentiality agreements so strict that along with their families and lawyers they are banned from saying publicly if the cases even existed.

The revelation will fuel concern that the national game has covered up historic sexual abuse for years.

It really is a nasty and dark cloud that is hanging over the game at the moment.

The stories that are coming out are horrifying to read and to listen to, no one should have to go through what these people have gone through.

What a strike from Dean Marney!

That's not a bad way to recover from gifting West Brom their opening goal on Monday night.

Burnley are good value for that lead, they've started off well.

Burnley had a good chance to regain the lead with that Vokes header. City's defending suspect again.

Swansea were 3-1 up, 4-3 down and then won 5-4.

Seven goals in the last 24 minutes at the Liberty Stadium.

Insanity.

Leicester got very lucky today to get a draw, they definitely didnt deserve it. Probably would have been better if they did lose, Raneri might have changed his formation or starting lineup then, Vardy needs benching, was pointless him being on the pitch most of the game.

Fuchs looked like an old man today, no pace at all, playing twice a week catching up with him, looks like he needs a break but the manager cant see it

I think winning the title has affected them mentally, emotionally and physically. And i think doing this amazing achievement has caught up with them this season. Also teams know how to play against them and thats why Vardy is not scoring

But the big miss is Kante as he was the engine room in the midfield and without him doing all the work in getting the ball back from the opposition and starting the attacks the team has not been as effective as it was last season. People say Mahrez and Vardy and a great defence won them them the title. But Kante in midfield was the one that made Mahrez Vardy and the defence play better

They are the ultimate Jekyll and Hyde team, their performances in the Champions League have been very good, whilst they seem to have been somewhat "found out" in the Premier League.
