As a City fan I get fed up with Agureo and his horrible fouls he does like today. No need for it at all and I remember him stamping on Luiz the other year as well.
Good game. Ignoring the implosion at the end the whole game rested on the fact that Chelsea were clinical and City weren't. If you think about it, City didn't even score. Lots of respect for how Conte has got Chelsea playing this season but bit surprised about Gary Nev at the end almost condoning the violence. As an ex-manager, he should know better. Aguero's drop kick on Luiz was bad enough, but Ferdinnho's triple-shove on a non-resisting Fabregas was downright nasty.

For the money Man City spend, there is never a match that goes by in any season where they do not have at least six aging and very average players in the squad.
Third is the absolute highest, I could see them ending up, likely lower.
Aguero has been very poor for the most part this season, and I think this was just his frustrations coming to the fore, I can see him being sold in the summer.

The only thing he was condoning was Chalobah getting involved, along the lines of him sticking up for a teammate who's just been caught by a disgrace of a tackle.

It didn't sound to me like Neville was condoning the violence, just making clear that he was putting that incident aside in forming his judgement of the match.
Neville's always said that he relishes seeing combativeness in a match between two top teams so that would explain why he didn't seek to make a big deal of what happened - even though it went over the line of acceptability.

I think he was booked, seemed to give Fernandinho a little tap on the face before Fernandinho lost control.

He's scored 10 league goals already, only Costa has more. Saying he has been very poor is insane.

Better sell all your strikers in the summer then - Aguero's "very poor" equates to 10 league goals. Your usual biased nonsense is making you a laughing stock. Again. Embarrassing.

I did say almost condoning. And the lack of consistency is a huge problem. The tackle was a disgrace but Jose gets a red for attacking an inanimate object and Chalobah only gets a yellow for kicking that whole incident off?
As Jason said it went over the line - and straight into the crowd. Could have been very nasty and at the very least City, are down two important players for a while. Neville was a bit soft in his analysis IMO

Okay very poor was not the correct choice of words, but come on, he certainly hasn't been his all conquering self this season, that much surely cannot be disagreed with?
City could have done with this red card a few games later, so that Jesus could just slot into the team, (as presumably he will be their second choice striker when he is allowed to play), as it is, the young feller, whose name I can never accurately spell might have to play up front, in their next four games.

He's the second top scorer in the league and has only one less than Costa. So yes, that can easily be disagreed with.
Quote: “"Teetotal muslim" Manchester City star Yaya Toure carged with drink driving after being pulled over by police in London. He has reportedly been released on bail and is set to appear in court this month.
Toure, 33, was driving through Dagenham on Monday November 28, when cops pulled him over. He was tested at the roadside and again in custody before being charged with driving a motor vehicle with an alcohol level allegedly above the legal limit.
Toure previously claimed he is teetotal due to his religious beliefs."”

Fair enough, I just don't think he has been as clinical as possibly he could have been so far, he is a terrific striker, one of the best (possibly just Costa ahead of him in terms of ability) in the league.
He will always be up there in terms of the final top scorers in the league, though it wouldn't really shock me if Pep did sell him come the end of the season.
