Just watching Final Score on BBC1; I am getting a bit sick and tired of journos/commentators taking the moral high ground. Post match interview with PG after the Man City v Chelsea match. Guy Mowbray asks if he will talking to his players re the sending off's etc. WTF has it to do with Mr Mowbray with what the Manchester City manager says to his players with regards to that game? PG did give an answer but only after a long pause apparently. I just found it very patronising. I wonder who runs the game these days with journalists and pundits calling time on managers, re Alan Pardew. Think they are so superior to everyone with the way they carry on.

indeed. my comment wasn't so much about Pogba as it was about batdude's bias.”

It is not bias on my behalf, players playing in different positions have to be judged differently that is just commonsense surely?

Aguero is a top class striker, of that there is no doubt, the question is, has he been as good as he can potentially be this season, I wouldn't say he has, despite his current goal tally.

Whereas you have to judge Pogba differently, as he is a midfielder, and thus, goals are not generally the best metric to judge him by.
He has been doing well when it comes to passing accuracy, through balls, and other stats that you tend to look for in a good midfielder, can he be doing more for us, yes of course, but he is just getting started here, so a key difference with Aguero, who knows his surroundings, and his teammates (give or take or one or two).

So this has nothing to do with anyone being biased, and more just looking at what a player is capable of in their respective position(s), and seeing if they have come close to fulfilling that potential.

Sky can't show live La Liga Saturday afternoons until after 5 or so hence why it wasn't live. Shane, as you don't get a 13 goal thriller every day od the week, especially with a nun pitch invasion...

Because their actions were reprehensible and far below what everyone can expect, he has every right to ask that question, I am more astonished you can't see that

If I was Angelo Ogbonna, I'd be tempted to ask Arsenal for an assist bonus.

Which is a shame because I dont think he has done much wrong, other than he should have rested some players in the EFL cup and prioritized the league

Utter rubbish. He was trying to come across as a headmaster type talking down to a pupil. Guardiola is well aware of his responsibilities I am sure without being reminded by a commentator. No wonder he paused before giving a response. On a different tack, during the PC prior to the game today, Guardiola was asked about the football sex abuse scandal before a Manchester official stepped in to remind the journo that only football related questions will be answered. Anything for a soundbite. Just stick to the agenda. What the hell the scandal has to to do with the Manchester City manager is beyond me.

That Yaya Toure drink driving story is the stuff that Daily Mail readers' wet dreams are made of.

I can't imagine he will be getting another run in the side soonish, as this doesn't exactly paint him or the club in a good light.

Arsenal should be out of sight but they are more efficient these days than exciting certain top 4 place , title winners I can't see

Excellent goal from Sanchez

Should really be 4 or 5 by now though with the amount of chances they have had

What strength and finishing from Alexis Sanchez there.

Bilic clueless. Waits till the game is lost to bring Carrol on.

and another excellent finish from Sanchez

Now that was a quick Arsenal response to the Carroll goal

Yet another brilliant strike past Darren Randolph - this time from Oxlade-Chamberlain.

And there's Sanchez's hat trick!
