There's a lot of deadwood at City that needs moving on
A lot of this squad wouldn't be in the squads of other top teams Pep will have his work cut out especially with the Euro's likely to delay players returning to training |

Pellegrini comes across as a very decent guy, but this performance by City is a good insight into why he will not be the manager next season.
Rashford is my man of the match. That's hardly pellegrinis fault |

Poor result for City
Arsenal and City have been dreadful this season, basically handed Leicester and Spurs a free run at the title. I would sack Pellegrini if he wasnt going already and i would seriously ask Wenger to step down as manager |

City are dreadful. Ain't just a change of manager required but some serious work needs to be done in the transfer market. Not just one or two. This team and squad needs surgery.
People still think Guardiola is walking into some easy job? |

That was pitful stuff.
United won, but their problem hasn't been against the 'big' teams. They look average against the bottom-half sides, no pace or width. City, deary me. Guardiola has his work cut out, and if he wins the title next season, then fair fecks. Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal, United, City, Chelsea all need to get their acts together. Very average season with few highlights (Leicester/Spurs). |

I doubt they'll discipline him for not booking someone. They'll say it's the referee's discretion and leave it at that.
This City side really are abject. They barely looked like scoring against the worst United side I've ever seen. The squad built over the last couple of years is ridiculously bad when you look at the wealth avaliable. |

I didn't realise until looking at the table just now how close Arsenal are to being drawn out of the top four themselves, never mind trying to overhaul Spurs and Leicester.
One or two bad results and they could well drop below City, United and West Ham. |

They're relying on the same core from the 2011-12 season and each of them has declined, some more dramatically than others. The signings around those players, other than De Bruyne, have been pretty poor for the last three or four seasons. There's just a complacency about the whole team.

How can you talk of city being at the end of the cycle when they spend hundreds of millions every season?

One or two bad results and they could be well drop below City, United and West Ham. But second isn't out of the question. Spurs' fixtures compared to Arsenal's look brutal after the break. Plus Arsenal have the added experience of overhauling much bigger leads in recent seasons (12 in 2011-12, 9 in 2012-13), but you could argue this Spurs side are made of tougher stuff. Wenger is the past master of top four finishes, so I don't expect Arsenal to stutter. Aguero's talents are wasted in that City team. Guardiola surely will get rid of Toure, Demichelis and Bony. Seriously dumbfounded how poor City are when they started so well in August and September. Likewise how poor the challengers are. Crazy to think the curtain raiser could be Leicester v West Ham/Everton. |

Yeah it's end of the cycle. One problem they could have is shifting players out as they are on good money and it's more than likely they will have to take pay cuts elsewhere.

They put the games on to please the biggest audience demographic who are willing to put one of those horrid dish things on their property.
Hence the north west bias |

Spot on, that was an absolutely guaranteed booking for a player who hadn't already been booked but the ref is either the biggest bottler there has ever been or a cheat?!
I hope Man City make a formal complaint against him after the match and he gets "dropped" from the Premiership for a while as he's clearly not fit for the job. We'll ignore the blatant penalty that United didn't get in the 1st half, as that doesn't suit the agenda, does it? |

I don't think I've ever had the pleasure meeting a rival fan as bitter as you.

If Mourinho does end up at our gaff then stand by for some magnificent bitterness from her.
She's already started and he's not even been announced yet. The re - writing of history from her is quite delicious. |

The squad isn't deep enough, unbalanced and has an average age of 29.2. That should never of been allowed to happen. Guardiola likes his sides to run and it's gonna take younger hungry players to achieve that. |
