Pretty obvious which Ronaldo I was talking about, another thing that doesn't need clarifying.

Kompany being supremely talented is what makes him far from a poor player. Unreliable? Yes. Absent? Yes. Poor? Not in a million years. If he was poor, he wouldn't be missed.

Zamora played in the Premier League for Tottenham, West Ham, Fulham and QPR, and won two international caps while Fabio Capello was England boss.
What the hell? I have absolutely no recollection of Zamora playing for England, and I remember Jay Bothroyd.

I remember him being linked with Liverpool once, while Roy Hodgson was here. I'm guessing it was around that time. Or after Fulham got to the Europa League final the season before.

I remember him being quite tad handy whilst he was a youngster at Brighton the first time he was there, to be fair he hasn't had that bad of a career, despite the somewhat comedy chant/song that first comes to my mind.

When you're sat in row Z and the ball hits your head, that's Zamora (tune of that's amore).

Looked up when he played for England. He got his first cap in the first friendly after the 2010 world cup and after Fulham's Europa League run but the second came a year later despite him missing half the season and only managing 5 goals.

was it West Ham fans who sang that, I think the Tottenham fans were too depressed to sing a comedy song about him as when they signed him he was talked of as a great English prospect

Terribly random thought, but whomever gets the Barcelona shirt number "10" after Messi is finished with it, wow boy are they under some huge pressure to live up to his standards!

As the Spanish FA dont allow shirt retirements we wont get an addition to this list:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...ation_football
but I think Barca would do it if they could.

Yeah perhaps if Messi was wearing an unfamiliar number say "37" or something like that, then they might be able to retire that number, but with him wearing a relative low number, then my good wishes go out to whomever follows Messi in his number!

It'll be Neymar if he's still there.

Not that long ago Koeman was touted as the successor to Wenger.
His stock is falling......

Yeah you get the impression he's looking for that next step.

Then again maybe not......

A good win and generally postive display from Watford even if it was nervy at the end!

Prodl and Okaka very impressive alongside Amrabat.

Everton started well but seem to rely on Lakuku too much and the number 7 was lively.
